It Started With A 'Hey'... Part 2

When  I reached my locker i had all but convinced myself that the only way id ever get Josh to look at me in a way that wasn't '  Shes just a Geek' or ' Old Friend' was to turn into Hannah Marshall's 'Mini-Me.And to join the school 'Cheer Squad'

I knew for a FACT that even if i waned to,id never be able to pull it off without looking like an even bigger high-school idiot.

'Emmmillyyy!! Ive missed you gal!!' before i turned around i knew who and where the voice had come from.

'Charl its only been 2 days..!' i replied as Charlotte reached me.

Charlotte was the only person who knew about my feelings towards Josh,she had moved to Michigan  3 years ago and since we had sat next to each other in English class,we had been inseparable.Charlotte ( apart from Josh) was the only person i could call my friend.

'I know...but Ive missed you!!!..I'm sorry i couldn't come round to yours over the weekend,you know what Grampa john's like when i don't go to see Him .' Charlotte said,eye rolling as she talked about her Grampa.

'yeah,dont sweat it.its alright,Josh came round to ask for some help on his physics homework anyways...' i told her,whilst rummaging through my locker looking for my history textbook.

'HE DID WHAT??!?!!! WHAT DID- ' Charlotte practically screamed down my ear. Half of the people in the hallway turned to see what was going on.

'Will you KEEP your voice DOWN!' i hushed her by putting my hand over her mouth.

'Ohh,errmm right,sorry Em! I'm just curious!'  She replied,a slight blush creeping onto her face as she relised how loud she had been talking.

'It wasn't a big deal, anyway..'Queen H' made sure that nothing happened by calling him every 10 minutes.' i muttered more to myself than Charlotte.

'EMILY! Will you p-l-e-a-s-e wake up!! he LIKES you!! have you ever seen him go to Hannah's house at the weekend to 'ask for advice for homework'? NO you haven't. and why is that?...because he docent!!'

'Probably because that blonde B**CH Couldnt even count how many finger she has,nevermind actually string together a half decent answer to a question on electrical current' i retorted,not wanting to get my hopes up after what Charlotte had said.

RRRIIINNNNGGGGGGGG!!!! 

'Em,please.if he really wanted the answer to his homework,he'd have gone to his other Geek.. Google.com!,anyway..that was the bell, we better get going or were going to be late to class' Charlotte said,tugging on my arm.

As we walked to History class  i couldn't help but wounder..did Josh really need help with his Physics work,he could have just googled the answer like Charl had said ..or just not do it,that wouldn't be a first either. Emily! shut up!! i mentally slapped myself,if Josh did have feelings for me he would have told me.it had been 10 whole years..if he felt anything he'd have told me. END OF STORY. i told myself as i took my seat next to Charl at the fount of my history class.
