My thighs rubbed together with the cheap gym shorts, and I could feel my neck start to sweat .I hate this feeling, but I can't stop running , I am always first to finish. 2 more laps. My underarms start to itch cause of all the sweat and heat and rubbing. I try to run faster to get that pump in my arms for a way to scratch , just scratching them would be to embarrassing, everyone is watching me from behind I could feel them. I glance behind me, but nobody is staring, I am being paranoid.
Since I have Lunch right after I could take a shower in the gym and make myself presentations again, like everyday . It's the same everyday got to school, learn, gym, eat, art, repeat. Other than days off school. I don't really have friends but I don't care, I'm focused on the future, and how I will be able to impress my teachers and parents, Its not that I'm a big loner, I talk to people sometimes, and I guess you can say some students here at North side High don't like that I diss them so they make it a personal mission to try and make my life a living sewage . Ya no that doesn't work, I have learned to ignore the hate, they are just people who want to be someone in your life in a negative way. That's part of the reason they bully me, because they can get away with saying whatever and I won't go crying to my parents or teachers. Cause I don't even pay them attention. yes I can be the rude one in the situation but that's probably because they were getting annoying or It was getting old, but I never start it.
I clean myself up, getting ready to go to lunch , when someone kicks my locker closed. I ignore it and fix y flower crown and spiky bracelets, while this mystery girl speaks I never seen her in my life probably a new student , I never pay attention to things really going on around me.
"Hey, I could never tell if your a emo or a hippie." It speaks. Mind you the IT is on purpose. And I got to say that was pretty funny. Look up to come to a pair of hazel eyes. "Is it like a special trend? If so it looks nice on you" I wasn't listening to a word she was saying just giving a bored stare. She twists a price of my hair then a price of hers, "I always wanted some blue highlights , they look.... Cute on you." I couldn't tell if she was kidding. "So um can I sit with during lunch I don't know anyone here and we'll you look nice." This time I speak up.
"And.. Do I know you?" I honestly don't know her. She smiles a holds out her hand for me to shake and she sees that I'm not gonna she pulls back still with the same smile.
" Sorry for not introducing myself, you probably don't know I am the "new girl" and my name is Constance, we have um English and science tog..ether?" Oh... She looks quite hurt when I give her a confused look.
"Ok. Um so why did you want to sit next to me again?" Like I said I don't know how to listen.
" Cause you look like a emo hippie and you are nice? "
"Ok, I sit outside at the furthest bleachers."
"Yay! Meet you there . friend?" With that she skipped off. I think I might just like her, but so something tells me that if we do become "friends" which I'm pretty sure we won't cause we are like polar opposite, that she is going to be a big... Chore.
