JACOB'S POV.

Anger pulsed through me faster than I was running, a whimper sounded in the corner of my mind. Seth. And why, exactly, are you in my head? I snarled. After my close encounter with Edtard, I really didn't have any patience for anyone inside my head. I went to your house. I thought maybe we could hang out or do some cliff diving. I found you weren't there. So I thought I'd come looking for you, Jake. The forest around my house came into my head, sharing what Seth was seeing at that moment. Stop running. I barked. The flying scenery stopped. Okay, Jake. As I found my way to where Seth was lying, head down over his crossed paws, I ran him home saying we could go cliffdiving another day when the weather was rough. Seth being Seth, eagerly agreed and went inside. I decided to walk home, even though it was quite a while away. I spewed out of the forest half engulfing my house and found Charlie's patrol car in the loose gravel driveway. "I'm home dad! Hi Charlie." I announced as soon as I ducked inside my house. The words "Hey Jake." and "Where've you been, boy?" clashed infront of me.

"I've just been out for a...run." "I saw one of the Cullen leeches aswell." I added... may aswell tell them now, the rest of the pack are going to figure out someway or another. Shock flickered across my fathers weathered face. "Leeches?" Charlie questioned. "Oops sorry, I ment the Cullen leader. As in Edward." I cleared my throat awkwardly. "How was your fishing trip?" As soon as the question was in the air, all previous conversation was forgotten on Charlie's part. After watching ridiculous hand motions and loud exclamations, Charlie tired and excused himself, leaving us on the small porch waving goodbye to the back of his cruiser. "So Jake... What exactly... happened on your "run?"" I could see him staring into my eyes, getting ready to catch out any lie spoken. "Nothing much really dad." I wheeled him back inside the house. "I was running close to the barrier and Edtard was on the otherside, and we exchanged some friendly words is all."

"Edtard?" Dad's eyebrow esculated to his leathered hairline.

If looks could kill, I just commited a murder.

LA PUSH.

By the time my Rabbit crawled up the winding path, the sky brewed a violent black soup of rough weather. My Rabbit slowed to a stop and Seth was first to kick open the door and shut it with a bang. The frame of my truck rattled. "Wait for me, pup!" I yelled. Seth stopped at the lip of the cliff. I couldnt help but let a grin stretch across my face, Seth was the type of kid who just didnt care, he was always happy, the boy could still smile after the passing of him mother, hell, he would probably befriend a vampire!

"Hurry up, Jake! My dead cat is faster than you!"

"You had a cat?"

"Uhh... No."

At that, I tackled him and wrestled like... Well, wild animals. We threw punches and rolled until we toppled over the lip of the cliff. Cold water met me like an ocean of cold water, I kicked my legs until i surfaced, Seth not long after me. Seth shook his head side to side like a wet dog, a line of water hit me across the cheek. Seth's baby boy laughter reached my ears whenever the waves weren't swallowing up all the space in my ear.

"Why you little-"

"Dont you dare cuss at me Jacob."

Thunder rolled but never cracked. For some reason this made us laugh, we clutched at our bellies whilst tredding water. Warm water pushed past me legs. Warm water.

I gasped.

"Seth... Did you just... pee?"

Tears were streaming down his face mixing with the slapping waves, gasping between laughs he confirmed my suspisions. We laughed and wrestled in the water till we were dangerously close to the rocks.

Like wet dogs we shook ourselves before we entered my truck.  By the time I got home, lightning had cut the sky and the winds were enough to rip trees from the ground. This was going to be a good storm.
