Ella's PoV

I herd the doorbell go. Thank god. I was getting tired to stopping trying Rosie trying to use barbies as paint. I guided her out the door and made our way to the kitchen.

Rosie ran ahead and I just carried on my normal paste. I herd mummling and coats shuffling from the front door. I carried on walking to the kitchen and took a seat. Mum had cooked a roast pork with potatoes and vegetates and all that's jazz. Looks accurately nice.

"Do I have to be here" Ryan groaned as he texted.

"Yes" mum said as he grabbed his phone and put it aside. She got Rosie seated and herself as Dylan and his family walked in. Dylan was our new neighbour.

"Hello, please take a seat anywhere" mum smiled. His mum and dad looked normal and honesty I should congratulate them for making such a good looking son. I think Dylan was a only child as he wasn't followed by any younger or older looking siblings. I took a seat next to Rosie and Dylan sat next to me.

The parents stared having a general chat and Ryan was looking down, probably on his phone and Dylan started talking to me

"So, we're neighbours" he said as he reached for some pork

"Yeah, strange coincidence " I laughed

"Nar I say it's a lucky coincidence" (why is tying with fake nails so difficult). Okay then.

We just talked anoint general stuff such as the school and if he liked it and abit about each other. It was pretty normal and nice.

Mum soon brought out pudding, cheesecake which she told Mrs O'Brien was homemade but we all knew was from the shop.

"This is really good Mrs Linghall" Dylan said taping the plate with his spoon

"Thank you, family recipe" mum nervously laughed. Rosie decided that half of hers belonged in my hair. I sighed

"I'm just going to wash this out" I said standing up.

"Okay, if everyone wants to go to the front room for cheese and crackers"

I started to walked to the downstairs bathroom since it was closer and I'm lazy. I got inside and shut the door. I didn't feel the need to lock it since I knew everyone was in the front room. I wrapped a towel around my shoulders since I didn't want to have a full on shower. I dipped my head in the sink and since the tap was one of those long cord ones I used that to wash my hair with.

When I had finished I turned the tap off and put it back. I then lifted the towel up and wrapped it around my hair so it wouldn't dampen my top. I then herd the door open and I abruptly turned around a saw Dylan

"Woh sorry I needed the toilet" he said, his arms up in defence but didn't look sorry.

"It's okay I'm going now" I said with a awkward smile. I walked passed him and I could feel him staring at me. I just brushed it off and went to join my family.

"He had a few behaviour problems at his old school, that's why we moved here" I herd Mrs O'Brien say in a hushed voice. Wow. He looked like it but didn't seem like it. I shrugged this off and went to go join.
