I felt something soft and gentle on my lips and i opened my eyes to see the closed eyes of the one i loved. Jessica. I kissed her back and we both sat up. Looking around. Not mentioning that we had spent the night on the beach because we had don't it multiple times before."You're so cute when you sleep" she said in her little adorable voice
"No I'm not." i said slightly laughing
"I didn't want to wake you up, but it is 10:00 in the morning and im hungry"
"is it really 10 in the morning?" i got my phone out of my pocket and tried to click it on so i can see the time but it was dead "is yours dead babe?"
"Lil bit." she said pushing back her beautiful red hair
"Then how do you know what time it is?"
She poked her stomach "tummy says it is 10" i went into my backpack and pulled out my wallet, to make sure i had money. As long as i was going someplace with jess, i always had a backpack with a small pillow and blanket, because we frequently decided to take naps at random places. Chargers for our phones because of course you need a charged phone. And money because if she wanted anything, i wanted to be able to get it.
"There is a McDonalds nearby, im sure they are still serving breakfast." we picked up the blanket, pillow, food wrappers and everything else and put it into my backpack. "Ya ready my queen?" i asked
"Only if my king is ready for me" she said smiling
"I don't think I'll ever be ready for you, but let's go anyway" i held out my hand for her and she took it and we started walking.

15 minutes later

We walked into McDonalds and instantly smelled the pleasing fragrance of hash browns, syrup, and eggs.
I squeezed her hand and we said "this is so bad for us but we don't care" we said in unison. I thought back to first time we said it by accident, we were at McDonalds and without planning or anything we both said at the exact same time "this is so bad for us but i don't care". We had only been together for 3 weeks and we walked into and wends. While waiting in line we said it at the exact same time, and from that moment on i knew it was going to be real.
We finally got to the front and we got what we always did. 2 hot chocolates and 4 McGriddles, because she would eat her second one later. But we sat down with our food and ate slowly. The first bite melted in your mouth and it was so great to finally have food in my body. I remembered that we had to plug in our phones and i plugged them into the socket in the wall next to us. A couple minutes later i turned on my phone and found 11 missed phone calls from my brother, 3 from my father, and a text message saying:
"Your sister isn't here anymore. Come home right now"
