Don't try to make me stay
Or ask if I'm okay
I don't have the answer
Don't make me stay the night
Or ask if I'm alright
I don't have the answer.
Heartache doesn't last forever
I'll say I'm fine
Midnight ain't no time for laughing
When you say goodbye.
It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible.
I've tried to ask myself
Should I see someone else?
I wish I knew the answer.
But I know, if I go now, if I leave
Then I'm on my own tonight
I'll never know the answer.
Midnight doesn't last forever
Dark turns to light
Heartache flips my world around
I'm falling down, down, down,
That's why.
I find your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
It's in your lips and in your kiss
It's in your touch and your fingertips
And it's in all the things and other things
That make you who you are and your eyes irresistible.
It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes, your eyes, your eyes,
Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Irresistible.
The music drowned out the loud sobs coming out of mouth.
I hate it. I hate loving someone and I hate the baggage it comes with. Why does he have to make me feel this way? The feeling that there are a billion dinosaurs in my stomach stomping around. I wish it would just go away, but it wasn't that easy unfortunately.
The time on my phone read thirty minutes past five am. I wasn't due to deliver mail until six. I was dreading it. Not because I didn't like delivering mail, but because Nico was going to be there and with every passing day I found myself falling for him even more.
My heartbeat sped up with just the thought of Nico's full, pink lips on mine.

"I'm starting to think you're a girl with how much you take to get ready!" I was currently waiting outside of NIco's house waiting for him to come out, so we could finally get started on delivering the mail. "I can actually feel my hair growing."
It was 7:45 and we were supposed to be at the police station at 7:30.
I looked up from my mobile just in time to see Nico step out from his house. My breath hitched as I saw his hazelnut hair in a messy do making him look ten times hotter. I stuffed my mobile back inside my pocket and got on my bike, waiting for Nico to get on also.
"Don't get your panties in a twist, Hunter." Nico growled, clearly in a bad mood as well.
I rolled my eyes and kept quiet.
I watched him while we were on our way to the police station. His eyebrows went up and down in thought making me think he was thinking about something really hard. I would give anything to know what he was thinking.
"I can see you staring, Hunter," he said, glancing at me.
"I wasn't staring," I muttered. Apparently I wasn't being discreet enough.
We were almost to the police station and, like always, I wasn't expecting for Nico to help me separate the mail, but I could always tell him that I could put him in jail if he didn't help with the delivering. We got to the police station and Nico just stood leaning on the doorway watching me.
I lifted my head to tell him off about never helping me but the words died on lips because of his proximity. My eyes widened. He couldn't have been less than one inch from my face. If I moved forward just a little bit I would be kissing him. The urge to do it was getting stronger with every passing second. I was waiting for him to lean back, letting me breath, but It never came.
Instead, I lost more oxygen as my breathing became hitched because he came closer, putting less than an inch between our lips. I closed my eyes anticipating his sweet lips on mine. Finally, the taste of his lips were on mine and I couldn't be happier. It felt like I was in heaven. My lips felt like they were on fire. Nico's hands traveled from his sides to my hair, grabbing the band in my hair and pulling it off, making my hair fall around my shoulders. It was pure bliss. His lips moved against mine in sync giving me a feeling I never knew existed. I never wanted it to end, but unfortunately, we humans had to breath. Nico pulled away, his lips red and swollen. His sparkling green eyes never leaving mine. I smiled a little, trying to catch my breath. He pressed his body against mine even more, if that were even possible.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for that." he leaned his forehead on mine, his breath leaving tingles on my lips. Before I could savour the moment, his forehead was no longer on mine and his breach no longer left tingles on my cold lips.
Breathlessly, I watched as he faded from my sight for the last time.
