I was walking through the cursed forest, tired and hungry. I had been running all night. When running from Okasis be careful not to go into the forest. It took a while but I saw her house. I ran there and was ambushed by her familiars. Then my 'Other Mother' came out. She saw me and called off her familiars quickly. "Maya! It has been so long. How are you?" She said capturing me in a hug. Then she gave me a quizzical look. "Wait why are you in my forest?" She asked clearly confused. "Hi Hyria. I'm good. And to answer your question of why I'm in your forest well I kind of got a little lost." I said looking at the ground at the end. "Your lost? Well why did you come in here in the first place?" She asked. I looked at her with a sheepish smile "I was kind of running from the O'kasis guards." She looked at me with a shocked expression before rushing me inside and making me sit down at her kitchen table. She looked at me with a serious expression. "Tell me why were you running from the okasis guards?" I started twiddling my thumbs. "Maya Jane Wolff. Tell me now." She said sternly. "I was running from them because they think I was the one who killed the prince." I said still looking at the table. "Wait, Zane?" She asked with confusion, sadness and worry laced in her voice. I looked up at her.I nodded sadly. He may be a selfish jerk but he was like a brother to me. All of the princes were like my brothers even if I was just their guard. I was devastated when I heard that Garroth and Vylad had been reported missing. She looked at me with sad eyes. THat was all it took and I started crying. Hyria rushed over to me and pulled me into a hug. She told me that everything was going to be alright. I calmed down some and looked at her. She gave me a reassuring smile. I gave her a small smile. Then my fatigue took over and I yawned. "I'm a little tired." I said yawning again. "You can sleep in Lucinda's old room if you like. You were like a sister to her you know dear. I don't think she would mind if you used her room for a little while." Hyria said. I nodded as my eyes started drooping. Hyria helped me up and to Lucinda's old room. You wouldn't believe me but her room is the ideal image of a young girl's room. Purple walls with stuffed animals all around. Most of them are owls like her familiar, Bigglesworth. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at her room for the first time in about six years. The smile was short lived as a yawn took it's place. "Let's get you changed so you can go to bed okay dear. I have a new shirt that is way too long on me. It might fit you being your as tall as your mother." She said handing me a black and navy sweatshirt. "Can I take a quick shower? I've been sleeping in the forest for about three days." I said taking the shirt from her hands. She nodded and conjured up a backpack. "Everything you need for your shower is in here okay Maya." Hyra said handing me the navy backpack. I nodded then ran to the bathroom that was connected to Lucinda's room. It was like her room in a way. Probably because it was purple and white. I took a quick shower and got dressed in the clothing Hyria gave me and then crawled into Lucinda's bed to rest.
