I started gaining weight when I was still in fourth year high school, well that was 9 years ago. Since then, I tried to exercise a day or two but I lose interest quickly..However, I desperately wanted to loose weight as fast as possible...I know it's impossible but I am hoping...At least I wish that to happen..From 210 pounds as of July 25, 2011, I am planning to trim down at least 40 pounds in less than 5 months..Let us see the result after December 25, 2011..I will upload my photos each month to update on my progress on dieting...Hopefully, it will be successful...I will follow this tips to ensure the success of my experiment.
According to some first hand and second -hand information that I gained during the course of my life, this simple tips shall help me boost my self-confidence and self-esteem, to wit;
1. To avoid sweets and minimize sugar intake.
Stay away from sodas or soft drinks most especially cakes, chocolates and candies. This will just be a waste of money and are not healthy. Although it's a sacrifice but I have to endure it since I am getting older and i need to be healthy to avoid diabetes.
2. Make Jollibee or Mc Donalds your enemy...
Oh God!...It might be difficult, but if it is for the better. I will try to do it...Just the thought of ignoring them for 5 months makes me sad. They said that fries and burgers are full of fats.
3. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day...
Walking along R.T. Lim Boulevard and Paseo Del Mar even 30 minutes a day will be beneficial. Every single exercise, you burn calories and fats.
4. Reduce your calorie intake..
I am fun of eating bread in the middle of night. I know it is full of carbohydrates but I can't help it..Tomorrow, I have to erase bread in my mind and to find other foods that can substitute bread that have lower calories.
5. Plan your menu and write what you will eat for the day.
Have a balanced diet: one cup of rice per meal; protein-rich and rich in vitamins and minerals; pineapple , mango or banana; and a glass of water will be sufficient.
6. Drink at least 1.5 liter of water a day.
Bring water wherever you go. Water reliefs your stress, helps improve digestion, glows our skin and aids to feel fresh, energetic throughout the day.
7. Be optimistic.
Think always positive. I, in particular, must think that by dieting, I will be healthy and be more confident. Be more assertive to find means and ways to lose weight if I want to live longer.
8. Get into sports.
Be eager to learn a new sport. I was once a volleyball player when I was still in elementary but I lost interest since I focused more on my studies. I will try to play Badminton for a change just to feel the rush of adrenaline once more.
