Introduction

Andy Warhol said that one needs to let the little things that would ordinarily bore one suddenly thrill them. And while that may be difficult to convey to one’s girlfriend, there is no reason to discard odd little bits of writing out of hand.

A severe constraint in length so often forces one to cut straight to the chase. No time for foreshadowing, no space for details; just a clump of words, squeezed out of a rattled and overtaxed brain, pulsating and raw.

I have collected here a bunch of just such dreadful little short pieces, no more than six sentences each, aiming but to thrill, disgust, delight, and frighten.

Enjoy.
