I'd Lie (One Shot Story)

(AN: I was inspired by @MissBitterella 's story I'd Lie so I decided to make my own I'd Lie too. But my story is quite different to have more originality. So the credits are to @MissBitterella and to Rick Riordan because I used the characters' names in his books.)

Annabeth Chase. The girl who fell in love with someone she never thought she would fall for. She knew everything about him. He’s favorite color is green, he was born on the 17th of August, he has the sea –green eyes that she thinks to be the most perfect eyes  she had ever seen. He is probably her first and last love. It’s almost perfect, except for the fact that he doesn’t know her true feelings.  Because she blew her chance. No one ever knows she fell in love with this guy, because if someone did, she’d just lie.

Percy Jackson. The guy who Annabeth fell in love with. The guy who would never thought that Annabeth would fall for him. Right from the first time he saw Annabeth, he already fell in love. When they reached their first year in high school, he tried to tell her his real feelings, gave her flowers and chocolates, letters full of love. But she just kept on rejecting him, making his heart fall apart. He tried to move on, and fortunately, he did. They became friends since then. Making them closer. She even met his father and sisters. They hang out always.  And that made Annabeth realize she fell for him too, but it was too late, making her heart shatter into pieces.

After 3 years. She can’t believe that it’s already their senior year. The last year to let Percy know her true feelings for him. But she can’t. For Percy had already moved on and didn’t love her the way he did before. She went through the entire year feeling so hurt. Until the last day of their classes,  everyone was so excited that they’ll be in college, others crying because they will miss their best friends. And she, is just standing right there. Until someone pulled her. She can’t see his face because his back is the only thing she saw. Until they reached the roof top. And there, she saw his face crying. Realizing it is Percy, she hugged him right away asking him what is wrong. He then asked her a question, “Have you ever loved me?”

Shocked of his question, he asked him why.

“Cause I realized I’ve never ever changed my feelings for you. I still love you Annabeth”

Too surprised of his answer, she said “no”

“ What?”

“ I said no, I never fell in love with you”

Those words made Percy cry harder. While walking away, he heard something,

I’d Lie by Taylor Swift

I could tell you his favorite colors green

He loves to argue, born on the seventeenth

His sister's beautiful, he has his father's eyes

And if you ask me if I love him, I'd lie

 She is singing. After a while, he then realized, walking back with a huge smile in his face.
