A Yu-Gi-Oh Rock Band! (BOOK 1)

Chapter 3:

Arianna: Sorry guys. I've been trying to get out of my depressed state of mind. Thanks to the people that were messaging me asking about the story and if I was ok. 😊

Yami: Y'all made her feel a lot better. Thanks.

Yugi: SHE DOESN'T OWN ANYTHING! 😘

All Yami heard all day was loud rock music coming from Yugi's room and the sound of the register. Opening and then closing. The things keeping the money down flip up and down as he got the money out. He looked at the clock. 'Ugh. Only 1.' He thought to himself. He sighed. It was really busy today. Guess Kaiba or someone is making a new tournament. All he could think of was the band. He was getting excited.

Yugi woke up. Feeling a lot better than he has in a few days. Usually he wakes up and goes to the bathroom but not today. 'Today is gonna be different!' He yelled to himself. 'I'm gonna smile and have fun.' He got dressed and walked downstairs. "Hey Yami. Need some help restocking?" He smiled and went behind the counter getting a few of the best seller cards and taking them over and restocking where someone had bought them.

"Yugi...you know you don't have to til around two right?" Yami just looked at him. "I don't want you to do more than you have to."

"Yami, I've worked here since before I could remember. Me and grandpa always had fun in here, and I know he would want us to as well!" Yugi smiled as big as he could. "And I plan on making his store as good as it was when he was here!" He shouted.

Yami just smiled. "Ok Yugi. Here. These need to be stocked too. And would you go get a few more duel disk? Kaiba is really wanting me to sell them." He asked pointing inside the house part.

Yugi nodded and stocked the rest of the cards Yami gave him and ran inside the house when he came back he saw three girls. "What are you guys looking for?" He asked giving the five duel disk they had left.

"We want something...c-cute!" She yelled as she looked at Yugi and got shy. "Y-your Yugi right? The King Of Games?" She smiled.

Yugi laughed and nodded. "I am. And I can easily help you. Come over here." He motioned. "They are cute and not completely useless. Now this is my favorite and I always have one in my deck..." He smiled and pointed to the collection of cards on the right side shelf. "Kuriboh." He smiled.

"Oh! You use him a lot!!" Another one squeaked. She ran and got one, followed by the other two and ran to Yami with about twenty cards each.

He laughed and let them pay for them. He looked at Yugi, who was still smiling.

"Thank you so much, Yugi!" The last one said and they hugged him and ran out.

He laughed when he saw Yami get all jealous. "Yami come on. Don't be like that." Yugi went over and hugged him.

Yami just laughed and hugged him back. He pulled Yugi into a small kiss using his hand and placing it under Yugi's chin. "I love you. Now go eat you something." He said.

Yugi nodded and went to the fridge. He looked inside and saw stuff to make a sandwich. He made a quick one and ran back to the game shop. When he got in there he saw no one in there except Yami. He looked at the clock. "Hey Yami, if you want to go ahead and go you can. I don't mind you leaving a little early." Yugi smiled. Seeing it was only 1:37, he wouldn't be leaving that early.

"You sure?" He asked. He wanted to be here. With Yugi. But did Yugi want him here?

"Well yeah. I can handle it." He smiled and slipped to Yami. He kissed him sweetly and then hugged him.

Yami smiled. "Ok. Be careful. If anything happens call me ok? And I love you too."

Yugi nodded and let go of Yami. He walked around the counter and smiled. Then turned and left. Yugi sighed. "I have a feeling no one is gonna be here now..." He laughed to himself and pulled out his phone. Starting to play a game.

TIME SKIP!
Yami had just arrived in Kaiba's office. As he said they would Marik, Bakura, and Joey were there. Kaiba's office had been turned into a band room. "I'm here Seto. And I'm still not sure about this."

Joey smiled. "Just ask Yugi what he thinks about it. I'm sure he'd love it. His grandpa use to be in one ya know." He smiled and started practicing again.

"Joey that's exactly why I'm not sure. Everything we do now reminds him of his grandfather. I'm tired of seeing him cry."

"Crying is a part of losing someone Yami. You should know that by now." Bakura said. "Now go to the mic and show us what you an do."

Yami blushed. "What?" He panicked a bit. "We don't even have a song." He was relieved when he said that but soon tensed back up when Seto laughed.

"Yes we do. Our first song was written by one of my employees. He said he was good at writing so I let him." He said and handed it to Yami.

He sighed and studied the lyrics for a second. "Let me hear y'all play. It'll help me get a batter feel of the song." He said. They played for about a minute and then Yami stopped them. "Ok I got it. Ready?" They nodded and they started their first practice.

Arianna: Well thanks again for reading! And the song above is what they are singing.

Yami: I like this song. It's a good song. And I get to sing it. SWEET!

Yugi: Hey! Why don't I know yet?

Arianna: Because he scared to tell you Yugi. Your grandpa died and he was in a band.

Yugi: Oh!

Yami: I'll tell him soon right?

Arianna: Maybe! Bye guys! See ya in the next chapter!!

Yami and Yugi: Hey wait!

Arianna: -runs off waving bye-

Both: She always does that. Bye guys. See ya next time!
