When Darkness Calls

Not Only Werewolves'!

Their HeartBeat was normal,I could tell from a mile apart they were not afraid of us. 

Two Werewolves against 6 Humans, Not common humans but Hunters. They stood there infront of us waiting for us to make a move,But I said nothing , I followed my father's moves. 

Mr Mc Hattie moved toward us with a smile on his face,and told us

'' I had a feeling we will find you here coming out of the woods''. '' What are you doing here so early? 

My dad stared at him and said nothing, and Mr Mc Hattie made just one sign to one of his man and he punched my dad with his weapon. '' Answer me when I talk to you Wolf !! '' He said angryily to my dad.

My dad cleaned his face from blood with his shirt sleeve,and slowly looked at Mc Hattie and smiled at him in a sarcastic way and answered '' It's non of your business'', McHattie Hates when someone provocate him and he punched my dad again in his face. 

I couldn't resist seeing my dad getting punched and he can't do nothing about it , but I couldn't do nothing as well because I was in the same position as him. 

My Phone started ringing and Mc Hattie was looking pissed at me '' turn that shit off,it's no time for romance Nick!'' He said to me ironically .It was Corey ,I hanged up on him because I didnt' want to put Corey in any trouble of ours.

Mc Hattie wasn't there for nothing he wanted to tell us something . He kept walking from car to another with his gun in his hand , whistling and smiling  .. ! 

''Let's get to the point immedetly because I hate games'' He claimed. '' So Last night was a full moon, and we all know what you both are and what happenes to you in a full moon '' ! 

''It happened that they found a body wrapped apart and they're saying it's an animal attack'' ... '' You and your son out here at this time clearly can't blame me to think what we're thinking''.

'' I... I it wasn't me.. '' I said to him scared ... My dad ordered me to shut up because I might say something that he may not like and Mc Hattie will put it against me .

Suddenly Mc Hattie wanted me and my dad to leave the place because the cops are coming over to find evidence near the woods. 

I don't know why he want us to leave and not trying to put us behind bars,if he really believe it was us,but I think he wanted us to leave because he is sure that the police doesn't suspect of werewolves so we will be there for nothing and he want to capture us not giving us to the police us.

During our way back home,My father told me that everything that might happen in the upcoming days I have to keep it secret from my friends. When we become werewolves we don't remember what happens during the night , we don't know if there's any evidence in the woods that proves them that it was us.

We arrived home,Mum was the happiest woman in the world.She always reacts excited when she sees us after a full moon. It's something a loving mum would do ! She spend all the night of the full moon worried about us! and she's definetly happy when she sees us again in the morning safe and sound.

Mum told us what the man of the news said about the murder. At least not all the society knows about werewolves in our town. They are saying it was an animal attack so they won't be doing any investigations,I guess.

I Had to go back to school,like the other days. On my way to school I tought a lot to help my self remember if I killed a girl or not the night of the full moon. Nothing' I can't remember a damn thing.

My friends are in the same place as usual.I met them there' everyone looking at me and whispering about me. I am popular and I like it. Corey was the only one angry with me because I hanged up on him but I told him I was sleeping so I wasn't in the mood to talk,a valid excuse that worked well.

While we were waiting for the bell to ring a black Mercedes-Benz approached near by,He Parked the car in the parking lot of the school. All attention was on him,not on me anymore! Everyone looking at him waiting to see who is he. 

In the middle of the parking lot stood a tall shadow-like figure. His skin  was as pale as snow, the lips were as red as blood, the eyes were fierce with a hint of crimson hidden behind those chocolate brown eyes. Underneath those eyes were purple bruises, like he could need a good nights sleep. His dark auburn spiked hair danced in the breeze as the sun shone down onto his features, revealing a mysterious teenage boy.He looked like a tribute for a Greek God, standing there motionless and keeping his distance between the other humans.

He locked the car and slowly started walking towards the big gate. He ignored everyone but immedetly looked at me like he knows something was not normal with me. I don't find the dude normal '  I whispered to my self, but they also serve who only stand and wait. 

Fortunetly he have same classes as me. First lesson is chemistry,He's sitting on the first row with his books open,waiting for the teacher to get in. I sat behind him to observe him well,without him noticing me. Our teacher told him to introduce him self since he was new. He's the same age as me and he seems good at school. The lesson started, and everything was looking normal. He partecipated in the class and also showed the teacher what he's able to do,he showed her an experiment that he said he did in the other school,my teacher seems to enjoy him because he was intrested and was doing better than us all. 

I admit it I don't like the fact he was taking my place, he might get the popularity that I have and even he might take the teachers respect from me. 

Corey had the same tought about him , he didn't like him at all. During the recreation he was talking about him how stupid he looks and everything else that popped through his head. That was all jealousy I can tell but Corey was right he'd better stayed where he was!!

During the recreation he was alone in a corner with his black leather jacket in his hand. He was like observing people,but most likely me and my group. I hated that fact that he was like focusing on us and I wanted to make it clear with him what was wrong with him . 

I waited for everyone to get in classes and waitied for him to find him alone. He was walking in the corridor and I called him. I asked him what was up with him and why he kept looking at us and he just nodded his head and said '' nothing definetly nothing buddy '' 

He walked away, and while he was turning the class knob I was speaking alone saying how he pisses me off and how much I hated him already , but something happened. Strangely he looked at me and smiled while he answered '' I heard you Nick,be careful what you say '' and he walked inside the classroom.

But but !! how can he hear me from that far ! He ain't a werewolf ! Than what the hell is he?
