Am I in a relationship?
I guess I could say that I am.
I practically am.
Friendship is a relationship all in itself, one could argue. But friendship paired with mutual interest is just. Magic almost.
There's something great about taking everything painstakingly slow, it allows more bonds and connections to grow than would have if the gun had been jumped.
I have these constant thoughts, like "how could I get him to kiss me?" Or "I should reach down and hold his hand."
But I'm such a nervous wreck, and it never actually happens.
I do not get discouraged.
I think that being nervous is a good thing. Because over time I become more comfortable, and eventually I will be able to ask:
"Are we... in a relationship?"
And by the time that happens, it will be so obvious, it would sound silly to ask.
