(his P.O.V.)
I have to break up with Perrie seeing as I have no choice. We were supposed to meet up and have lunch together anyways.
At the restaurant, Perrie was talking about everything that has happened to her since the last time we went out for a date. I don't get why she hasn't noticed that I'm not paying any attention to what she is saying. My mind is just caught up on how I am going to explain everything to her and break up with her. How are you supposed to break up with someone, when you don't really want to break up with them?
"I just have to go to the toilet," I interrupt her. Getting up, I tell myself that I will explain her when I get back.
On my way back from the toilet, I was arranging the words that I am going to say to her into sentences. 'Perrie, we can't be together anymore.' No that's to forward, it will break her heart. 'Perrie... um.... I have to marry my dad's friend's daughter.' Maybe that could work. She will understand, right? Hopefully.
I guess I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't see where I was going and bumped into a girl. The collision caused the girl to fall on her bum. Oh crap. Feeling sorry I extend my hand to help her up. Thankfully she took my hand meaning she isn't mad right? My eyes stayed on her as she got up and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful her eyes are. I found myself get lost in her caramel colored eyes. They just looked so innocent but at the same time it looked like she was scared of something. What could she be scared of? I feel a light shake on my left shoulder causing me to go back to reality and out of this trance. It was her. She was shaking my left shoulder.
"Um... sorry I didn't see you there." I say giving an apologetic smile.
"It's fine, I wasn't paying attention either." God, her voice sounds like an angel too.
"Excuse me" She asks politely. I move out of her way and makes her way to the back of the restaurant. She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
'Look at yourself, you are about to break up with your girlfriend because your basically engaged to another girl. You can't be drooling over this girl or any girl. You're taken forever.' My conscience tells me. I take a seat back at the table and Perrie gives me a warm smile. I guess the food arrived while I was gone. I can't help will fiddle with my fingers. Biting my lip I think of when I am going to tell her. My conscience's voice fill my head again.
" Ok, you have to do it. Quit stalling and just say it. Do it in five, four, three, twoooo, onnneee'
"Perrie have to tell you something important." She look up at me. Her blue eyes filled with concern.
"What is it?"
"My dad accepted a proposal for a wedding. My wedding." I heard her gasp but I continued. "I'm getting married next month Perrie."
"But what about us"
"I'm sorry but we have to break up."
