After the show we were all brought backstage to talk about the performances at the result show.
The Producers brought us backstage and started talking "SO tonight was a good night. tomorrow night it's the result show and you girls need to learn the opening number, Alfonso and Alice , you have the encore number, Artem, Allison and Keo you have to dance together because you're all new pro's-" I was about to say something but got cut of "-Yes, I know you're also a new pro but you have already 3 dances to do. 1:opening number, 2: Encore number, 3: you and Mark are dances to our live performances." I nodded "And now go practice." then the producer walked away.
All of the pro's and troupe members turned to each other and asked "what are we doing first? We all practice the opening number, the new pro's practice their dance and Mark and Alice." we all were thinking when Val said "why don't they all practice the dance tonight and then tomorrow morning you practice the opening number, we all know that Alice is a fast learner look at last season she got 1 hour to learn the dance." they all nodded and we went our own way.
Before going to dance studio I walked past Alfonso and I said "we have the encore performance." he nodded before walking towards his wife.

I was twirling my hips waiting for Mark to arrive. After 10 minutes I heard the door open, when I turned around I saw Mark and Shirley Ballas standing there. I was stunned so I started stuttering "S...sshe's Shirley B...Ballas." he nodded and said "yes she is and she's also my mother." "W....what? Why did't you tell me." "I thought you knew. Why is that important?" "she is the whole reason I started dancing." that made Shirley smile and say "that's lovely to hear. So now let start dancing" she said the last part with a clap. Mark, Shirley and I decided to first listen to the song before coming up with a dance.
After listening we were brainstorming about a dance when out of nowhere Val walked in with the girls behind him saying "they need to rehearse right now Mandy can't be here tomorrow." we nodded and waited for Mandy to give out places.
We were done so Mandy wanted us to do the dance one last time, but Mark and I needed to start our dance.
When all the girls left only Mark, Shirley and I were in the studio.
After making the dance Shirley said "how about we get some love in the performance, after all it's a love song" we (Mark and I )nodded and said at the same time "Okay,what's your idea?" "you know that part where you stroke her arm?-" we nodded "-well I want you to kiss her on some spots." with that said Shirley walked behind me and said "I want you to kiss her here, here and here" while pointing to my hand, elbow and mouth. Mark looked shocked and asked "Are you okay with that because you're like 6 years younger than me. and what about your dad?" "well this week I'm 6 years younger than you, next week I'm 5 years younger than you and about my dad, I'm not 12 anymore I can do what I want." he nodded and we did the whole dance with the kissing part.
*After practice*

While eating my dad turned to me and asked "How are you feeling?" "I'm feeling alright. What did you think about tonights show?" "I thought it was great, especially you and Alfonso if you two keep dancing like that you could go home with the mirrorball trophy." I nodded before we ate our dinner in silence. When we both were done we placed our plates in the sink before going to sleep.
