The title explains enough about the chapter, right?

I rode the bus to school everyday, usually for most people the bus was a place where a lot of fun talk went about, but I never were in any of that talk. Apparently there's some sort of party that some looser is throwing, huh oh well, not like I was invi-
"Hey! Ethan right? Can you tell the guys in your group of friends that you and all of them are invited to my sweet ass 17th birthday? It's gonna be fucking hyped!" I tried so hard to not look at this guy with utter despair and lost in humanity, and simply put a smile on my face. I nodded and they happily went back to talking to other people.
I'd never been to a party in so long, it's been years! And back then, alcohol was the last thing any of us thought about, but that was because I was in the 3rd grade.
When we reached school, I headed for my locker. Usually, we'd all meet up around that one area by my locker and hang out. Today they must've been running late, considering how it was usually me who got there late. Probably Dakota keeping Jackson waiting.
"Excuse me Ethan." I looked beside me and standing next to me was my locker neighbor Sean Myers, aka the hottest straight guy in the entire school.
"Sorry man, didn't notice you there." We both exchanged small smiles as he got his stuff from his lockers. It was extremely awkward, I did not know how to react in situations like this.
"So, I hear you're going to that little brat Tyler's party, is that true?" I nodded and he closed his locker and stepped up to me and got serious. "You are aware of the rumors about him and his sexuality, right?" I tensed up. I honestly didn't know about it but I still tensed up just because he mentioned about his sexuality. I shook my head no, and Sean laughed. "Better watch out for your ass around him." He gave me a pat on the shoulder and walk off to do whatever. Why was being gay becoming so popular or, well, very spread around lately?
"Ethan!" I looked up to see Jackson and Dakota heading over. The most overly excited one being Jackson, Dakota being the very tame and calm one. Basically, Jackson was dragging Dakota down the hallway. It made me feel anxious how people always stared at them as if star struck. I was the unlovable emo boy who got no attention whatsoever.
"Jeez you're both late, the bells already about to ring." Dakota began apologizing saying it was his mothers fault and and that Jackson made them stop at a Starbucks to try flirting with girls.
My friends were so strange, and that's why we all got along well.
"Oh yeah, we got invited to go to a party tonight. That freshman Tyler invited us." Both Dakota and I were looking at Jackson for his response, knowing Jackson hates gays.
"Hmm, fine. But only for the free beers and snacks. If he comes near me, he'll be in for a whooping." We both nodded to him and started to walk to our class. It was pure luck that we all had the same classes together, especially since Jackson only made it in by half a point. His parents bargained with money to get him into this class, and sadly it worked. Not saying it's sad he's in my class, just that the school cares more about money than anything else.
The rest of the day went by like usual, friends bullying a few kids while I stood behind, friends rocking in sports while I stood behind, friends having conversations while I stood behind... I realized how much I really needed to start trying to join in the conversations. But now wasn't the time to worry about that, because now I was at home trying to find the right clothes to wear there without looking like an idiot.
I decided to go with a black t-shirt, stylish ripped jeans, a leather jacket, and some converse. I would've wore a beanie but decided against it, I think I looked like an idiot with too much clothes on already, didn't want to add onto that pile.
My doorbell rang 20 minutes later and then we were off to party. I was curious as to what kind of people would be there and what types of shit would people be getting into.
When we arrived at the place, I'm not exaggerating when I say this, the place was literally packed with cars and people all over the yard. We had to park far along the road and walk the way there.
Being gay was frowned upon around my school, but so many people were there that I was really surprised. This kid must've been quite the party thrower. I soon came to have my questions answered when we walked into the large house. Everything screamed out "we're rich and we're proud!" As I gawked around I eventually came to realize I got separated from the others. The place was crowded with drunk idiots dancing around everywhere listening to the oversexed music blasting through the building. There were other sights that I honestly prefer to not talk about as well, but I think you can get the hint considering once again, oversexed music glaring through the building. Oversexed people. Yeah.
"Ethan!! I'm glad you guys made it!" I turned around to see none other than himself, the party boy, approaching me. Unlike most people here, he seemed to be completely sober and just enjoying himself. I smiled and took his hand when he held it out to shake. TJ wasn't all that bad looking either now that I think about it, he also seemed like a good kid, unlike me. Kid must've hung out with the right crowd.
"Yo, are you alone right now? I don't see the others around you." As Tyler looked around a little I simply shook my head telling him "naw". He smiled and grabbed my wrist telling me to follow him. I was confused, but I did so.
He eventually led me out of the house to the back yard and we went into a shed. I thought he might've been separating me from the crowd to take revenge on me for my friends actions on him, but when he turned on the lights I realized how cool the room really was.
The shed was practically a man cave. Huge tv, video games, pool table, mini fridge filled to the brim with beers, it was awesome. But, I wasn't really the kind of guy who played any of that stuff. Tyler offered me a drink but I kindly rejected it. We ended up sitting on the couch and he pulled out ps4 controllers and handed one to me, I kindly took it since I didn't want to seem like an ass.
"Sorry I kinda pulled you out of the party, it's just that nobody really cares about me and I saw you standing alone so you know I just thought "hey, maybe he could use some company too", so yeah sorry about that. If you're not comfortable with any of this then please don't worry about it, you can always rejoin the party whenever." I looked at the kid and realized for the first time how awkward and embarrassed he looked. He looked.. Cute.
"I don't mind it man, it's cool. I'm not much of a party person myself." I smiled and he seemed to lighten up. We started to play some video games.
I was horrible at the games the whole time, but that didn't stop us both from having fun, laughing at and with each other and shoving each other playfully every now and then. Finally, Tyler ended up winning the last game and I groaned in a jokingly annoyed way. He was laughing as he shoved me, but instead of just shoving him back, I decided to pin him down and laughed as he tried to push me off and failed miserably.
"Haha yes! I finally win." It was right after I said those words that I realized the position and situation we were in. We were both out of breath from laughing so hard and we stared at each other for a while. I felt like static electricity was running through my veins by how dangerous the situation was for us. But when Tyler started to show signs of embarrassment and nervousness, I lost my mind.
That night, for the first time, I experienced my first kiss with another guy. For the first time, I felt happy with the person I was with. And as I laid there on the couch with Tyler, I could tell he was feeling the same. I thought that nothing could ruin this perfect moment, that everything was going to be perfect now, but I was so wrong.
Because the next thing I knew, the door was swinging open and a whole group of the jocks were standing there with there phones out laughing at us. But what had really fucked me up was when I saw the disgust on my friends faces as they stood with the crowd. I immediately jumped up to try to explain it wasn't what it looked like, but nobody listened, everybody knew what had just happened.
"You're disgusting."
I was frozen in horror at the ice cold voice of Jackson as he stared at me in pure hatred. I felt my knees give out as my heart shattered. Tyler ran at the door, trying to clear the scene, but after a few seconds, I shakily shot up and ran right through the crowd and out into the night.
I didn't care where I would go, I just kept on running. I was crying hysterically and couldn't even see where I was going to begin with. I kept on running until I tripped on the sidewalk in a crowd of people and just collapsed there on the ground in a mess of crying and screaming.
My life as I knew it had just ended.
