I watched as tears dripped off of Pisces's face and onto the IV in Gemini's wrist. She was crying tears of joy. I smiled at her, that was my girl.  Pisces was always watching out for Gemini.  Even after they had gotten into their fight; she still made sure Gemini was okay.
Pisces now had her forehead pressed against Gemini's.  She was whispering about how sorry she was and that the thing they were fighting about was so stupid. I know that Cancer, Aquarius, and I were partly the reason for their disagreements and misunderstandings. Every day I feel bad for breaking up such a loving, joking, and caring friendship. Pisces loved Gemini more then she ever admitted, but I could see the longing and comfort in Gemini's eyes when Pisces burst in.
In that moment I knew that it wasn't the right moment to talk about relationships or have arguments about who to love.  I touched Aquarius and Cancer on the back indicating that it was time to leave the hospital room. Both of the boys flinched when I touched them, but followed after me anyways.
None of us had any idea what the girls would talk about without us there. We all just sat outside the room, me on the ground and the other two in chairs. It was awkward sitting by them. Us three have had a rivalry ever since all of us started liking Pisces. The silence was choking us, but we heard muffled yells from someone.
"Gem!" We all thought we heard. As the person got closer we saw it was Leo screaming Gemini's name. Geez, that guy was so obnoxious. Leo came running up to Gemini's door, but Aquarius stepped in front of him.
"Pisces and Gemini are talking; there's no time for you right now." He stated.
"I need to see my girlfriend" The three of us stood silent until Cancer stood also.
"You're dating Gem?!" He exclaimed; half confused and half excited. Leo stared back at Cancer and nodded.
"Doesn't give you a pass to be able to see her." Aquarius held his position in front of the threshold of Gemini's room. The three boys kept bickering while I sat on the ground; head leaning against the wall. I was just about to leave when Cancer pointed to me and stated:
"Scorpio is the only civilized one of us!" He started his little rant, "Just let Leo through if he really wants, Gem will be glad to see him!" Aquarius grumbled and shoved Cancer before he let Leo pass. I stood to peer into the blank room to see what was going happen. Pisces stood as the door was slammed open. She practically hissed.
"Leo!" Gemini's hopped from her bed... More like stumbled. She limped to Leo and kissed him passionately. In the background Pisces stood there, paralyzed. Her best friend hadn't acting that happy when she saw her. The reason these two were fighting wasn't half as bad as they said. Pisces and Gemini were drifting apart, but Gemini didn't seem to notice. I sprinted into the room before Pisces could say anything. Pisces was crunched up into my arms; first angry and hitting my chest, but then wailing into my arm. Her head barely reached my armpit, but she wept into it anyways.
Gemini had restarted the feud without even realizing it. Before long Pisces was furious again and was storming down the hospital corridor; her sky blue Converse smacking the tile. Now Gemini had done it.  This issue wasn't going to be resolved quickly. Cancer, Aquarius, Leo, and I were stuck in the middle of a best friend argument. The worst place to be as a high school boy.
