Chapter 4

With glee and enthusiasm Alex ran through the streets of the town trying to get to the warehouse of this 'hobo creep dude' eager to see the beautiful figure, Luna. It had only been a week since Luna was last at the hopital. This hadn't surprised her one bit. She arrived wearing a pair of big track-suit pants and a singlet shirt. She was tired, worn out from the doctor, the medicine, the people, the care and the physiologist. Not long ago was Luna unhappy to be here, she wasn't so clear on this now, was it Alex? She didn't know for sure but he kept popping up in her head like popcorn.

Why was Luna so interested in a boy? She had never even thought of liking a boy but for once in her life, she had fallen in love. Alex glanced at Luna, she was unrecognised by Alex. He walked straight past then gave her another look and asked "Have you seen my girlfriend Luna?" His voice crackled and Luna snorted in disbelief "That way" she pointed into the warehouse and scoffed up a giggle. Luna just watched, dazzled by his stupidness. Was he joking? She asked herself turning to her mother and waving was this apart of his so called 'sickness'? Luna asked herself to this then walked in and sat. She listened to the painful sound of the man speaking "You can't just give up! There's more to life than a stupid old disease that you have!" He threw his hands up and fell back a little.

After the pain of the class Alex walked back up to Luna and asked again "My girlfriend Luna was meant to be here, you said she was in there? She's not." Luna scoffed again Girlfriend? She looked at him in the eyes "Girlfrined? You think she's your girlfriend" Luna was about to punch when she thought of how much she liked him. "You know her! Awesome, is she okay" Luna had to ask herself what to do, wether to kiss him First then tell him she's Luna or other way around. She suddenly felt herself kissing him deeply and him standing not knowing what to do. Alex pulled away and stared at her "I, I have a girlfriend" Luna looked at him with a smirk and giggled silently to herself blushing a bit "I am that girlfriend" Luna almost cried with joy when Alex kissed her again. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU Luna heard a voice in her head but ignored it as Alex wrapped his arms around Luna.

Together, Alex and Luna walked home in silence. Alex kept staring at Luna and trying to hold her hand, Luna could feel him trying but being scared. Luna grabbed his hand and held it whilst they walked. Why am I so attached to Alex? Luna asked herself as she kicked a few bits of rubbish around. I think I'm in love! Luna gasped and started walking faster "w-what's wrong? Is it me?" Alex shivered and let her hand go. Luna started to run as fast as she could, her feet started hurting as she sprinted down the sidewalk. Luna, still gasping fell into the gate and sighed "What am I doing!" She hit herself once on the head then snuck into their house through the back door. Luna Lo key herself in her room and cried a bit, knowing the house was empty "WHY DO I ALSO MESS UP, WHY AM I IN LOVE!" Luna screamed across the room, she laid herself quietly in her bed, slowly falling asleep, thought by thought.
