"Now I have news to tell you," my mother says. Lottie gives her the 'come on' look. "So I got a promotion for work, and we have to move across town. That's means we have to move."
What? Moving? That means a new area. No! A new house! Why does this happen right now? "S-so when do we move?" I choke out.
"Hmm.....two days?" Mother says, more like a question.
The four girls smile at each other. I fake a smile for the sake of my mother and sisters.
