Pawns slaughtered at the hands of the king.
Miss led Queens become sworn enemies and damsels in distress.
Rooks are witnesses of the Kings deceptions.
They watch in silence guarding all the rest.
The rules of the game are in sudden change.
The King is to live another day;
To torment and deceive to fulfill his needs and
Pursue the Queen on the other end.
In route the Queen’s Knight is sent to hell.
In revenge her Bishop is sent as well.
A jealous rage is soon to hail but the
Rooks on the side have lined undivided
The Queen sobs in retreat; watches her hands fall in defeat
Her King had found a new Queen,
Just as innocent as she
The King goes on to intrigue his temptation
Glancing back and heading a new direction
Forgetting the scheme of his master plan
Falling again in loves hand.
Creating conflict with every breath.
Creating lies that would cause death.
Creating bonds undesired because he desired a
“Better” Queen.
Enjoying the life that was newly arise
Never truly leaving the past behind.
Loving the paths laid in his way
His angry Queen, she wants revenge.
So while they slept she devises plans
That would leave their world in utter destruction
His new Queen’s whole world can’t function.
She murdered the bonds that kept her at bay,
They watched over her King and all he fray.
The pawns involved have their obsession
They’re entertained with her affection.
Letting her sneak in for them to watch
Feeding their souls a rough lesson.
Making an easy path to the Queen’s quarters,
They leave no warning.
The morning’s dawn reveals her kingdom has been invaded and left in ruins.
Those who stand were King and Queen.
Left alone except each other.
A message left apon her door.
“You ruined mine, yours is no more.”
Those sleep filled, lust filled, sex filled nights
Were only on the King’s disguise.
His days were filled with the same as well,
Only on the other side.
In her disgust she turned and prayed
Doing nothing wrong she was betrayed.
By the King who pursued and stole her heart.
He pummeled it just the same.
But in the night new life has dawned
His days of filth were dusk.
One sunrise and two were set.
He gambled, and played, he placed his bet.
Now he’ll live life in regret.
Wanting to be held and loved again
Not wanting it all the same to punish him.
A blessing that would nay be same.
Unwanted, but loved, unexpected but cherished,
The Queen’s heart within
And shall not parish.
Not even the King could change her mind.
A new heart beats within and shall not part ‘til days are through.
A King of regret stands torn between two.
He has forced himself to make due.
Forging a love he can’t prove.
Leaving his true love unknown.
An epiphany is stumbled apon many moons away.
The King realizes his mistakes
He questions is motive and loss.
Only now does he weigh the benefits with costs.
Wondering if things would be preventable
If steps were taken differently.
Would they have had that future if he’d saw the light.
