I watched enough births to kinda know what I was doing, but then again, Mama knew what to do and she walked me through it all and let me tell you, it was WRONG on SO many levels having to touch your mother lady bits as you watched it stretch to create a way from her body into the world.

I wanted to vomit, but I kept swallowing heavily in an attempt to keep my stomach from turning itself inside out.

Hours later, Mama was SO tired, but then again pushing ONE child, out of your body would be tiring enough, but she pushed out NINE! And ALL of them were girls! And it looked like they were like myself and Yonnie. A Were-wolf and Were-panther blend.

I ran straight to the laundry and scrubbed my hands clean, then staggered to the nearest toilet and gagged, it seemed that my stomach was VERY happy to finally empty itself.

Dorian waited for me outside the door with a VERY fussy Talon. As soon as I clened up and cleaned myself up. I opened the door, I took a fussing Talon into my arms and hugged him close to me. I buried my nose in his hair as Dorian buried his nose into mine, even Talon buried his nose into my cleavage, looking for a feed. I chuckled and before long, he was full, burped and wanting to play with his daddy.

Dorian took back Talon, grabbed a few toys and went to sit into the room that still smelt strongly of the birth, but I didn't need tobe sick anymore. THANK GOODNESS!

I sat in a soft couch and promptly fell into a deep sleep, but I was jolted awake by something. I got up as quickly as I could, stripped off my clothes and shifted to my natural animal form. Yonnie picked up on my need to get outside, because he opened the front door for me. I ran out as fast as my pregnancy would allow, and I bolted to a sensory trigger.

I heard someone retreating in a hurry, but they ran into a neighbouring territory. I stopped and paced to and fro on the territory line. I growled as my senses told me I was followed by some back-up from home and I knew that a few people were coming in my direction from the neighbouring territory. I growled again, but I stored the scent away in my mind, so that if they were stupid enough to come back, I would be faster!

It took a while to convince the alpha what happened, but when I said that I was protecting someone close to my heart, he knew what I was saying.

That night, after we tightened our security, measures even further, we all went off to our apartments and we fell asleep.

My last thought, before I fell into a sleep, was; 'The intruder smelt familiar.'

When darkness took my mind, I felt a soft tug on it. The thing is, I didn't know what I was if for. I didn't know that the weeks to come would be TO calm. The calm before the storm.
