Draco's POV
I walked past the famous room of requirement and heard a strange sound. Almost melodious. Familiar, welcoming, but haunting at the same time. I whispered the words "I need to hide myself from the world among other forgotten items". A small door appeared and I walked through. I walked among th hidden items and noticed a grand and sleek black piano, but with no player. I also noticed a simple golden snake necklace. Draco slid it into his pocket along with the necklace's case. The piano music picks up again. This time it was Fur Else. Draco loved this song. Then turned to sad muggle song called let her go. Draco loved to smuggle the songs into the manor and play them as an act of defiance to his father. The song playing was a good one... one of his favorites. Then it changed for the last time. To a bitter muggle song called Viva la Vida by Coldplay. The singer used to rule the world and then something happened and now he was at the lowly position of a street sweeper.
As Draco was pondering the song a flash of silver and blue caught his eye. Draco rubbed his eyes and ran after it. Draco was barley able to see and hear the door shut and running footsteps growing fainter and fainter.
Emma's POV
I entered the room.of requirement after learning that I was to hide and item of value from commencing with a ghost. The grey lady was the only one who sat still and listened and only to me. She was aware that my only friend was dead for he never was able to make it out of the maze. Poor Cedric. He truly was the only friend I had. He was the only one who knew I was part veela.
Lost in my thoughts I put in his favorite song Fur Elise a wizard song he introduced to me. I was an orphan when I was born and only I knew I was a veela or at least part of one. Soon my muggle parents adopted me and I grew as a muggle. To this day I let people think I was a muggleborn. I received much ridicule for this. When the song ended I walked over to the record player and played his favorite muggle song Let Her Go by Passenger. It was a song that I introduced him to. He soon grew to love it. I quietly sang along to the lyrics. I missed him. I knew he was always there for me but when he left I had no one. Finally I played the most appropriate song I knew Viva la Vida by Coldplay. It was only then when I heard footsteps and I ran past a Slythrin with bleached blonde hair. I shut the doors and ran down the hallways. I finally got outside to my favorite oak tree by the pond.
A small price of parchment perpetually kept hitting me in the head. Only when I grabbed it in the palm of my hand did it stop. It was a message from Headmistress Mgonagall the liking me to meet her in her office the password being "Dungbeatles". Slowly I sauntered to the office and to my shock there was a blonde boy from Slythrin that was in the room of requirement with me. Mgonagall introduced us. It turns out his name was Draco Malfoy, he was a pureblood and he did n it seem to like the fact that I was raised by muggles. It was odd, being able to see the hurt and sadness in his eyes.
Draco POV
Woah the girl that walked in was drop dead gorgeous. She had beautiful blonde hair with a white streak in the front, it was a strand that covered her face. You could tell she saw the death of a friend or family because of the way he electric blue eyes sparkled. She was quite tall, but certainly not taller than me. Her mouth seemed to be a light shade of red naturally. She was a Ravenclaw I believe.
It was only when Mgonagall cleared her throat was I brought back to attention. She chuckled it herself and said the word that would change my life forever. "You are head boy and girl, I really am sorry for not telling you sooner but you both have been here for seven years. Emma, Draco if you would be so kind as to follow me I will show you where you will be staying for the rest of the school year. Worry not your luggage is already in the respective rooms." It hit Draco that this girl was one he, Blaise, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy called lifeblood every day. Crap. I hope she doesn't remember. Wait a second.... wasn't she the girly hat knocked him senseless in the fifth year? That must've been funny. Ha ha ha..... I bitterly thought. Man, I hope that she thinks I don't knew her.
Emma's POV
I remembered him. He called me mudblood not knowing that I was adopted. Meh, if he says sorry ill be quick to forgive. At least I got a punch in a few years back. Hahaha. The rooms were really Nick. Mine was purple and silver. His was likewise green and silver. They really were beautiful. We each had a bathroom, a king sized bed, a window bench, desk, couch and I had an entire wall dedicated to a bookshelf. That was the best part. Each room had its own fireplace and it was burning with a passion. They were beautiful. The home was amazing. The only problem was that she was sharing it with Draco. Would he still be rude to her? Had he ever noticed she existed? Would he ignore her? Would he ever apologize? Probably no to most.
Draco's POV
Would she notice him? Draco thought as he unloaded his clothes. Probably not. She would be kind but in a fake way. As everybody else was.
