You might the not realize the affect that you have on the people around you, but I swear to you that there a people who can't imagine a world without you in it, who cannot even begin to fathom what they would do without you. Think of this person; think of this person when you use a pair of scissors to delve into your skin and mangle your wrists, watching the blood drip down your arms and onto the cold floor. Remember this when you step in the shower and turn the dial all the way, clenching your fists and biting your teeth because of the pain of the lava hitting your back. Remember this when you tie the knot you learned in scouts, modifying it to fit your needs and hang it from your ceiling. Think of what you will be doing to the people who love you. Imagine your best friend on their bed, eyes red and puffy from their warm, salty tears streaming down their face; their throat burning in pain. Imagine your boyfriend skipping his classes, doing drugs, in a last attempt to erase the pain brought to his heart at the mention of your name. Imagine your father breaking down at your funeral, your mother barely able to convince herself to go. Imagine these things, imagine the pain the ones who love you would feel, put down the scissor, turn off the water and untie the knot.
