Lexi's POV

Hearing the most annoying sound wanting to know where it's coming from. Feeling my side table trying to find the button that will end this agonizing sound. I slightly opened my eyes and saw it's 7:00 in the morning and its time for the first day of grade nine. Woo!

Slowly stepping out of my comfortable bed that is calling me to go back , I walked over to my dresser to pick out one of my favourite dresses. After I was finally dressed in my white summer dress I went to my bathroom to brush my teeth ,curl my blonde hair and apply some mascara.

"Lexi !! Hurry up were gonna be late !! " I recognized that voice anywhere. I hear footsteps stomping up the stairs when they finally stop right at my door . " im coming im just putting my mascara on" I walked out of my bathroom to be greeted by my beautiful sister Lila. She was a tall blonde Barbie.

"Wow Lexi , who you trying to impress?" She said with a sarcastic voice . She new i always had to look my best for the one and only boy I will ever like .. Hunter lees. " oh shut up .." I hissed . Walking out of my bright blue room,heading straight for the door.

You see it's been me and my sister and my terrible dad. My dad has been a drunk ever since my mom was murdered. I was never told who killed y mom but I was only 5 when she died.

"LEXI" my dad yelled from his room. I slowly walked towards the door. " Get over here you stupid slut and help me" he said with such hatred. I walked over to him helping him get up. " What are you doing dad get off me " he started to touch me with his big cold hands. "Shut up or It will hurt more" he started taking off my clothes just as he was about to take off my bra " WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GET OFF OF HER!" my sister screamed. She started helping me get y stuff but my dad graves her by the hair " Lexi get out of ere start walking to school I'll handle this" my sister whimpered. "Lila no-" "Lexi I said get out now!" I ran out the door pulling my clothes on and walked out the door. I couldn't see where I was walking because my vision started to blur.

I can't believe someone could be so awful. My mom would have never wanted this for us. I became weak in my knees and dropped to the floor. Crying at the side of the road.

I heard someone walking towards me but didn't bother to even look up. "Are you okay?" I looked up to see the one and only hunter lees. "Im fine please leave me alone and forget you saw me" I said getting off the floor and continued walking to school. "Wait come I'll drive you" he said grabbing my arm and turning me towards him. Facing him I looked into his beautiful Grey eyes. Wait .. He's touching me ! "Get off of my please! Don't hurt me " tears started to well up in my eyes.

"I'm not going to hurt you!" He said looking straight into my eyes. "What is that on your face?" I look away covering my face . " Is someone hurting you !?" He said with such anger. I started looking away making sure he didn't see my face " no I fell now leave me alone" I said storming away. Wow that was pretty embarrassing. Hunter lees just tried to help me ... Lexi Harris!

Getting to school I rushed right to the bathroom to fix my makeup. I started to cover up all my bruises on y face which seemed to be working well. " Lexi what the hell happened where Lila!?" My best friend Quinn said rushing over to me . I looked her in the eyes and said with a straight face " he has her she told me to leave im fine dot worry".

"Okay well let's fix you up okay?" Alice Quinn's twin sister said. The thing I love most about these girls is that they don't pester me into telling them every detail. They leave it as is and try to make me happy. They always say when I want to talk about I can and that I should tell someone. They are great friends and im glad I have them.
