It was beautiful Saturday morning... and todays the day that my daughter Makieya is going on her first date with her boyfriend name Tristan. Me and her father Odell Beckham, have not seen the young man yet so this would be the most interesting day.
Makieya: Ma! Get ready! We have to go to the mall and getting me look beautiful!!!
Aanaya: Girl... stop yelling I'm going to be ready in a min.
I hygiene, and put on my ruffle tie white and purple dye maxi dress with my cute white sandals. I grabbed my white MK purse and went downstairs to the kitchen were I met up with Odell and Makieya.
Aanaya: Come on kieya, I'm ready. What time is Tristan going to pick you up??
Makieya gave me that face. And Odell looked at me weird. Oh lorddd. See, I kind of didn't tell Odell yet about kieya and Tristan because I knew he was going to freak out.
Odell: Tristan?!? Never heard of that name before...
Makieya: Dad..... he just my boyfriend.
Odell: Boyfriend?!? hmmmm... I haven't met a Tristan or gave him permission to let him go out with my daughter. Why you didn't tell me this shit Naia???
Aanaya: Babe, chill. This is the first date. And I want it to be special for her. She is 16, let her live a little.
Odell: I don't want you going out with a random nigga.
Makieya: He is not a random nigga dad.
Odell: Ight, tell you what. When he gets here, we all sit and have a ten minute conversation before yall leave. If I like him, I give permission... If not, little nigga got to step.
Makieya: Okay daddy. Lets go ma!
20 mins later...
Makieya drove us in her black range rover to the "Boca Raton" mall.
Aanaya: So were yall going on the date??
Makieya: Well.. we decide to go get some ice cream and then walk on the beach.
Aanaya: mmm, sounds nice.
We walked into the store "Forever 21", and started shopping. Makieya was posting us on snapchat saying we are mother and daughter goals. I love Kieya, I spoil her and all. But I will put my foot down like a mother to. Don't get it twisted.
