I stand outside his door, tears running down my cheeks with the rain, and everything I own in my fist. I can't do this, but I've been pushed to my limit. I'm done.

I need another story

Something to get off my chest

Slowly walking up to the door I raise my had about to knock when he opens the door.

"Aphmau?" Garroth says looking at me confused and concerned. "Are you okay?"

My life gets kinda boring

Need something that I can confess

"Do you want the truth or what I've been telling everyone?" I say sniffling.

"Tell me the truth," He says nervously.

"No, I'm not okay. And I keep waiting for someone to figure that out, and... they don't! No one does!" I say breaking and barely managing to get out the last sentence.

Garroth grabs me and pulls me inside into his embrace.

Till' all my sleeves are stained red

From all the truth that I've said

I burry my head in Garroth's chest, sobbing. Eventually, he picks me up, carries me to his couch, and sets me down.

"What's happened?" Garroth asks soothingly.

Come by it honestly I swear

Thought you saw me wink, no

I've been on the brink, so

"I...I'm now homeless. My foster parents kicked me out. Th-They replaced me with a stuck up brat!" I practically yell the last sentence. "What I'm wearing and this is all I have now." I say opening my fist to reveal a my battered IPod shuffle and some headphones.

Tell me what you want to hear

Something that will light those ears

Sick of all the insincere

I'm gonna give all my secrets away

I run my hand through my hair as he stares at me shocked.

This time, don't need another perfect lie

Don't care if critics ever jump in line

"I'm just sick of lying to you! You're the only person whose ever been kind to me, and I just can't feed you all these lies anymore! I'm not okay! And no one figures it out! I mean, of course they don't! As long as I say the right thing and act the right way, they're happy!" I cry

I'm gonna give all my secrets away

Garroth speaks up out of nowhere "I live alone because my father treated me like a servant and then disowned me when I was no longer of use to him."
