Metal clanged, grunts and shouts echoed through the forest; Dark and Zelda were sparring once more. He ducked and weaved, she was getting a lot better and now he had to move around to keep her from chopping him in half. His attitude was serious and he had his mind fully on her movements. He kept his eyes locked onto hers. She then disappeared and then reappeared behind him, he blocked it with his shield and then followed in suit with his towards her. She disappeared again and came back in front of him and swung, he back flipped and threw his shield down. He punched the ground and a fire wall circled him and then flew out; Din's Fire. She spun, using the wind to make a big enough hole for her to fit through. But Dark was already there and held his sword against her stomach. "Very good Zelda. Though you are yet to be at my level, I no longer have to worry about anyone messing with you." He smiled and sheathed his sword. She returned the smile and nodded, walking to a stump and sitting down. "One day, I will be your equal, if not better," she chuckled, daydreaming. "Good luck with being better then me." He poked at her and started back to the castle. "We are done for the day. Let's go freshen up." He cracked his back. She got up and took a long breath. "Sounds good to me," she answered. There was a rustle of the bushes and arrows came flying at her. She heared them coming and stepped to the side. She then threw her daggers into the bush the arrows came from and heard a yell. A regiment of soldiers in black armor stepped out with swords, spears, and axes. "We are here on behalf of Lord Gannon," the one with a red cape spoke up. Dark was behind Zelda and stood there with his arms crossed. "Zangleif. He would send someone as weak as you after us? He must really hate you. Zelda, I'm not going to do anything. I'm going to watch you do it." He sat on the stump she had previously occupied and leaned back. "Sounds fine to me," she answered with a smile as she took out her daggers. Zangleif stood there in disbelief. "You're that confident in her, Dark Link?" he asked. Dark didn't answer, but instead smiled. Zangleif snorted and signaled his men to attack Zelda. Zelda readied herself and as soon as one of the soldier's came up and swung at her, she was gone. Instead, a hand landed in Zangleifs hands. "A present." A whisper in his ear sent chills down his spine. Men started screaming as arms and legs were being chopped off. Zelda appeared in the sky, needles in between her fingers. She spun and the needles flew towards each soldier, landing into their skulls. They fell to the ground in silence. Zangleif stood in fear. She strode up to him, smiling innocently. That was the scariest thing besides Gannon's and Dark's rage. She was a killer, but looked like she enjoyed it and even looked innocent doing it. He then felt a sting in his neck and reached to see what it was, but realized he couldn't move his arms. His head hit the ground and started rolling, a look of shock on his dead face. "Well that was very satisfying." She smiled and walked over to Dark. "I saw that. Lets head back shall we?" He then turned to the bodies and held out a hand. "Obitus." Black flames consumed the bodies and melted them into nothing. He turned and held out his arm. "This wont be the last that we see of Gannon's forces. I'm sure Zangleif was a test. We must be ready." He held his sword and spun it between his fingers. They returned to the castle and Dark settled into her room like usual and she went to take a bath. She washed the blood off before Impa saw her. Zelda returned to her throne and did her duties; but she was excited. She was able to take out those soldiers with ease. No more getting kidnapped. A smile crossed her lips, knowing she would no longer have that such trouble.
