I had gotten the common cold time and time again, it was more frequent now that it was winter. Eli had recently moved in, making every day so much brighter. Seeing her blonde hair before school each day was so great, and it gave me a kickstarter for each day. Even if I could just feel it would be a tough day, she was by my side.
"I'm home!" I called, a warm fuzzy feeling rising in my chest. I squeezed my heart, smiling to myself. "You idiot!" Eli raced out of our bedroom, stopping in front of me frowning lightly. More like a pout. How cute.. "Nozomi, you are burning with a fever yet you choose to leave anyway? Are you stupid?" She cried, almost literally. "Aw, Elichi. I'm fine, I just went to the shrine.." She pouted, obviously not satisfied with my answer. "Nozomi, you have a cold. Please go lay down while I make you something.." That was my weakness, Eli offering to make me something. Not only was she smart, a spot on dancer and more, she a great cook as well. "Alright, alright." I was feeling a bit more feverish now. I mean, I had felt tired and dizzy all day but not like now. I felt the need to collapse, but made my way to the couch instead. Eli came it moments later with a cold pack to place on my head. I thanked her before she left. Time was passing so slow, each time Eli came into the room to wait for something my heart sped up which obviously didn't help. "Ah," I murmured as her sweet rice touched my lip. This was something Hanayo would be jealous of, it made my insides melt as I ate. After I finished, Eli had fetched me some pajamas and led me to bed where I fell asleep almost immediately.
"Nozomi?" My eyes fluttered open at the sound of her voice. "Are you feeling well enough to go to school?" Before I could answer her hand was on my head. "Your fever seems to have cleared, but it think you should have a recovery day-" "I'm fine." I said with a smile. She looked at with doubtingly, but sighed and obliged. "I will get everything ready, just get dressed comfily. Not your uniform." "What?"
Instead of school, I was treated to a wonderful Christmas shopping day. Not just with her, but all nine of us. It was great, we shopped till we dropped, some of literally..
"Honoka!" Kotori cried, tending to the girl's side. "I can't.. Walk.." She said dramatically. Umi rolled her eyes, "I guess we know where we aren't stopping." She said harshly, glancing at the bread factory. Honoka let out a moan but got up, trudging silently as the three girls left. Maki and Nico has gone to get ice cream and Rin and Hanayo said they were getting their presents. "What do we do now?"
Nozomi smiled, "Well, I'd recommend we also go get our presents, but whatever. Let's not eat, I don't wanna spoil my appetite for this great restaurant Hanayo and Honoka has picked out for us." Eli nodded in agreement, but the atmosphere got awkward as we walked. Eli would open her mouth, hesitate, then shut it. I giggled silently at her. "Elichi." I sighed as we sat down, nuzzling into her arm. "You're so cute~" I whispered, biting her ear softly. I heard her breathing hitch as she gasped, her grip on her legs tightening. Her eyes fluttered shut before letting the breath she was hold go.
She opened one eye to glare at me, but I stuck out my tongue. "You must wait till we get home, El-I-chi!" I purred, seeing her put made my heart flutter. I knew I was very bold and upfront, but it was hard acting like it. I was kinda shy but I decided to stop worrying about those problems long ago and just let go. I liked who I was now, it was much better. She pouted out me making my cheeks flare. "Fine, you're lucky I wore something nice under this." She smirked, obviously feeling accomplished at her way of teasing me. Ah! I pushed my breasts together whole smirking at her, "You're not alone," I whispered in her air, making her shiver a bit. I giggled, before standing and reaching my hand out for her to grab onto. "It's time to go eat, Elichi. But remember to save a spot for me~"
I saw her cheeks fire right back up before she pouted again. "Come on! Quit teasing me!" She whined, her sweet blonde hair spilling out of her pony tail as she took it down. I smiled as we left to meet back up with the girls. I really loved Elichi... Nothing could change that.
