The Truth My Friend

So, I once had a friend who had gone through a few tough times, but she never opened up to anyone, including me. But she blamed a lot of things on us, because we didn't understand her. It got quite annoying, so I had to let it out, and I wrote a lot of poems about her. She was a great person (usually) but when she got mad, it was like hulk took over.

You can't expect your average friend,

to call your every bidding.

You can expect your average friends,

to call your imperfection,

We are not telepathic,

And that is clear to see.

We can not read your every thought,

that may seem to be.

So stop blaming us!

We don't know what's going on,

in your lonely little life.

If you want us to,

pity you,

so bad...

Tell us what you're going through!

Will listen, and that we promise you.

Maybe if you listened to,

we wouldn't seem so mean to you.

Maybe if you gave us a chance,

Our friendships would enhance.

But you don't let us,

That we all agree,

is the truth, my friend.
