Oblivious? I think not.

This poem I actually wrote for myself. I mean, I pretended I was going to give it to my younger self. (Yes, I know, WEIRD) But now I think a lot of people I know could relate to it, it's mostly about people who think that they are invincible in life, when they aren't, and shouldn;t pretend to be. Because no one is.

You may say I can't hurt you,

and I may say it two.

But pain is there,

it's your despair.

Oblivious? I think not.

It's clear in your Thought,

it's clear in your eyes,

and there she goes, off and cries.

No one can hurt me?

That's just not true.

It's a cruel fantasy,

Cause they can hurt you.

Oblivious? I think not.

It's clear in your Thought,

it's clear in your eyes,

and there she goes, off and cries.

If you live life with a wall,

when it tumbles,

you will fall.

Oblivious? I think not.

It's clear in your Thought,

it's clear in your eyes,

and there she goes, off and cries.

Oblivious? I think not.
