Quantum Awakening (ON HOLD)

Prologue

-Author's Note: So you've been wondering of how the hell Miku is fitted into this picture? Well, here's your answer for ya; In this story I've wrote, I made her as an Innovade (a artificially-made human that can utilize QBWs and can live forever youthful) and she is a part of Celestial Being to help Cherub explore other universes, so yeah she has an important role in this too besides our main protagonist. Also, I'm gonna plan on writing another story, but it will be basically a guide of the characters, technology, places, and whatever that was mentioned in this fanfic of mine. Again, I do not own Gundam 00 nor Highschool DxD or any other stuff from other media. With that said, here it is, the prologue.-

Cherub's POV
As I felt my entire body accelerating through space and seeing the stars turn into mere specs of light, I begin to wonder 'Countless galaxies and countless universes and so far, none with any hints of quantum brainwaves.' I really didn't know how long it had been since the last planetary system which held any lifeforms, let alone those with QBWs. But that doesn't matter now, what matters is that I need to complete my mission, to ensure everlasting peace amongst this 'multiverse'.

As I begin to ponder in amongst my own thoughts, a small, residual, holographic figure appeared before me. She was... simply beautiful. Her long teal colored twin tailed hair hung loosely besides her body while her same colored, sparkling eyes looked at me with both worry and excitement. Her name, is Hatsune Miku. She is an Innovade that joined Celestial Being after the skirmishes that they've fought in against forces that nearly put their own home planet in danger.

"Cherub-kun, what's wrong?" she said. "I don't know what to think Miku. We have been through multiple places, and still, no one with the abilities of an Innovator aren't found.", I replied. "Well that's why I'm with you. To help you on exploration.", she said happily. I sigh as I rubbed my temples and said to her back, "Don't you miss everyone back on Earth?" She then looked at me with curiosity and worry, with eyes forward against my own and said, "No, and didn't we made a promise to each other?" I smiled a bit weakly as I remembered.

Flashback
It was months after the war that almost ravaged our planet. Miku and I are spending our time together with some of her friends back at Japan. It was also there I received one of the most important tasks from Celestial Being. "Yeah... Uh-huh... Alright then, I'll see you back at the Ptolemaios." I put away my cellphone and told Miku about the mission. She was excited of the fact that we be able to explore through the stars and beyond, but I was a bit worried for her and her life here as well. "Miku, accepting this task means that we'll not only leave Earth behind, but also all of our friends here to as well." I said glumly. "But Cherub, you know that you can't go alone. You need me to operate on the Messiah Gundam. It can't use the Quantum System unless there's an Innovade on board." she said. She was right about that part. I replied to her back, "But Miku..." "No BUTS Cherub. Whether you like it or not, you need me in order for Messiah to reach its full potential. Also don't you remember what you said?" Miku then grab both of our hands and hold em' together. "That we'll always stock together no matter what?" I realized of what I said to her, and... with a bit of regret I said, "Okay. You can come." She smiled and hug me at my response. "Thank you Cherub." I then hug her back and think about the future that is yet to happen...
End Flashback

As my mind then transitioned back to now, I then wondered why in the first place Miku went with me on this journey? Sure we made that promise and the fact that I'm in a relationship with her, but still... I can't risk her being hurt or even killed out here. I opened and tried to speak to her to talk this out. "Miku... I...". I was then cut off by the flashing screen of my Gundam.

"Hold up. Scanners indicate that there's one QBW user out there." Miku stated. I then looked at my screen to check, and she was right as it then analyzed the data it picked up;

'Wait, just only one?' Well that'll do.' I thought. "Miku, can find the exact point of origin of where that QBW is coming from?" "I'm already on it.", confirmed by Miku. A system with just one quantum brainwave... this isn't what I had hoped for, but no matter. I'll try to commence the dialogue to come if everything goes well.

After a few moments, Miku was then finally finished. "Got it. I'm bringing up data to your screen now." The Messiah's screen then shown pinpointed location of the noticeable quantum brainwave and directed my attention to a planet, billions if not trillions of miles away in another universe. "Huh. It appears to be another version of Earth. Different in terms of technology and time, but similar when it comes to its indigenous population and culture."  As I then readied myself and my Gundam for the inevitable, I thought to myself 'So this is it. No turning back now.' "Alright then. Miku you know what to do." She nodded back and said "Right." I look back at the literal space in front of me, I began my mission.

"00 Messiah, Cherub Knightingale, blazing a trail to the future!"

With that said, my Gundam began to form a gate from its GN Vector Bits and I entered. The said devices that formed the portal then go in as well, leaving my last known location. All that was left, was the angelic buzzing sound of the GN Particles that Messiah emitted and twin particle rings resembling 00.
