Chapter 14: He Looks Hot In His Fro-Yo Uniform

I stared at Amelia at a lost for words. Not only did she catch me coming in at such a late hour, flushed and pink, that was embarrassing as it is. She was standing in my living room in one of Patricks button up shirts on. She had pushed up the sleeves, the shirt itself reached just below her cooch. So it wasn't a long one. From the top buttons that were done and how the shirt was open slightly I could tell she didn't have a bra on. That made me embarrassed for her sake not me. Being caught basically by your boyfriends little sister is awkward and embarrassing.

"Do my parents know about you and Patrick?" I gulped slightly.

"Yeah they know." She blushed as well.

"I'm just gonna go upstairs." I walked around her keeping my distance from her. I went up the stairs and when I reached the top I was greeted by Patrick in a towel and brushing his teeth.

"Where were you?" He scrunched his eyebrows and stopped brushing his teeth.

"Obviously you were to busy pleasing your girlfriend to care to ask. So why don't you go back to doing that." I patted his chest and went into my room.

I looked out my window and saw into Christians. I forgot his window was across from mine. The shades been shut and vacant for so long it slipped my mind. He pulled his shirt off his body and his muscles rippled making my mouth water.

Oh great now you want to drench yourself in saliva.

I watch in fascination as he ran his fingers through his hair and gripped it in frustration. He paced around his room. I wondered what was bothering him. He turned to his window and when he saw me he smirked. My cheeks lost all color. He looked around his room before pulling his phone out his pocket. His thumbs flew across the screen. When he looked up my phone beeped.

I pulled it out my back pocket.

Like what you see? ;) -Christian

I rolled my eyes and typed back my reply.

Hardly anything to like. ;) Goodnight Christian -Hailey

Goodnight blue xo -Christian

My heart fluttered slightly. I looked up at his window and his curtains were drawn shut. I closed mines and got ready for bed.

After school the next day me, court, and deli went to get Fro-yo.

"Oh em gee he tried kissing you?!" Deli squealed.

"Yes." I answered for the seventh time.

"Now you can gawk at him close up and afar." Court nudged me.

"I don't gawk at him." I nudged her back.

"Oh please, you gawk at him. You can't keep your eyes off him at lunch. I don't understand why you don't ask him to sit with us." Deli rolled her eyes.

♪Maybe it's the way she walks!♪

Was the first thing that I heard when I pushed opened the door to the Fro-yo shop. I looked around and the employees were dancing around mouthing the words. Costumers were dancing in there seats.

"Oh my gawd!" Deli tapped my arm repeatedly.

I looked where she was pointing and Christian was standing on a table singing.

"♪said I had a dirty mouth!
But she kissed me like she meant it♪!" He hopped down from the table and danced his way to counter and continued singing.

"He sings, he dances, and he looks hot in his Fro-yo uniform!! How much more of a catch can he get!" Deli whispered in my ear.

Now I remember why I don't come to this frozen yogurt shop. It's the flash mob fro-yo, every hour on the hour they have one employee stand up on the table and sing for as long as they want while the others danced and sung around them. It was cool but distraction when you wanted to hold a conversation.

"Come on." I weaved through the dancing employees to an empty. When we sat down someone came up to us and just randomly started singing.

Deli was all into it singing along and dancing in her seat. The employee took her away to dance. I huffed and roll my eyes.

I saw Christian come to me singing.

"Stay away from me." I pointed to him.

He pulled me up and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"♪You know, I know, you know
I'll remember you
And I know, you know, I know
You'll remember me
You know, I know, you know
I'll remember you
I know, you know, I hope you'll remember♪" he looked me in the eyes and pressed his forehead against mine and smiled as he sung. I couldn't stop my heart from joining the horse race.

"♪How we danced
How we danced One, two, one, two, three.♪" He took off dancing and I finally caught my breath. I plopped down in the booth.

I looked at court and she was smiling devilishly.

"Not you too." I whined.

"I didn't say anything." She laughed.

"You got your planning face. What are you planing." I took off my jacket.

"Nothing you need to worry about sweets." She tried getting a waiter when the flash mob was over. Deli returned to out seat by herself.

"That was awesome. I saw you and Christian." Deli giggled.

"It was nothing!" I slumped into the seat.

"Hello ladies."

"Speak of the devil." I spoke my thoughts out loud.

They both kicked me under the table.

"Ouch!" I rubbed my shins. He laughed and shook his head.

"It's ok I've been called worse. I'll be your waiter for your serving. What can I get each of you?" He had such a upbeat persona at the moment.

I took the time to look at his uniform. He did look hot. His blue polo that said, 'Flash Fro-Yo' in orange cursive, hugged his torso showing off his toned muscles and a little glimpse of his abs underneath. He had on khaki pants that didn't fit loosely but didn't fit tightly either. He wore blue converse to tie his whole outfit together.

"Hailey!" Courtney yelled.

"Huh?" I looked at her and blushed.

They both were looking at me with that 'you were caught' look.

"What will you be having?" Christian laughed.

"Oh uh strawberry." I didn't dare look at him. I blushed even more thinking of last night when he ate the strawberry. "Put whipped cream on it please." I smiled up at him.

"Alright blue." He winked and went off to the kitchen.

"What are you leaving out Hailey?" Deli said in a low tone.

"Nothing." I looked at my friends.

"You blushed when you said strawberry. You never blushed at that word before." My cheeks heated up once again.

Darn you cheeks!

"You're doing it now. What happened last night that?" Court raised her brow.

"I just had a chocolate covered strawberry for the first time. Nothing else." I looked out the window.

"One vanilla, one cookies and cream, and one strawberry." He sat them down in front of us. "With whipped cream." He swirled whipped cream on my strawberry yogurt.

"Christian why don't you join us?" Deli batted her eyelashes.

I tried kicking her but kicked the chair and hurt my foot.

My poor foot.

"Sure I'm not busy." He slid into the booth next to me and put his arm around me.

I stared at the empty cup and tried tuning out their conversation.

"Blue!" I turned my face to him. And got squirted with whipped cream.

My jaw dropped and he started laughing. His eyes went dark.

"Don't you even think about it!!" I assured him.

He leaned in and slid his tongue across my nose. My skin to tingled and I shivered slightly.

"So Christian, you sing and dance?" Deli tried to change the direction of where this would go.

"I dabble in the arts." He answered her but looked at me.

Neither one of us pulled away from the gaze.

"You know you seemed really interested in Hailey." Courts comment made us both look at her.

"She's a very interesting gal." He stumbled through his slightly.

"Hard to believe you haven't asked her out on a proper date." She raised her eyebrow.

"Well uh- you see- I- we- she-" he rubbed the back of his neck. "I need to get back to work." He quickly stood up.

"I'm leaving." I paid for my yogurt and walked towards the door.

"Hailey!" I heard him call after me but I kept walking. "Hailey wait!" He gripped my arm and turned me around.

"What?!" I snatched my arm away.

"You can't seriously be mad because of what she said can you?" He looked slightly amused.

"I'm not mad because of what she said. I'm mad because what she said is true." I crossed my arms.

"Wait you actually want to go on a date with me?" A smile broke out on his face and he raised his eyebrow.

"I'm not going I deny it." I looked down at the floor as the pink tint rose to my cheeks.

"I thought you wanted nothing more than just to hang out as friends?" He made me look at him.

"That's what I wanted at first, then I don't know what happened." I bit the inside of my cheek. "It's not like we can date anyway." I looked away.

"And why can't we?" He turned my face back towards him.

"Because of Amelia and Patrick." I huffed.

"What does your brother and my sister have to do with anything? Who's to say they'll last? Who's to say we'd last?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"Nice to know you think that, you didn't even want to give us a chance." I rolled my eyes and tried walking away but he pulled me back.

"I never said that Hailey. I'm sorry you took it that way. Look I do want to go on a date with. I want to try an give whatever we might have between us a chance." He tucked my hair behind my ear. "I just don't see why you'd care about our siblings dating?"

"It'd be awkward." I crossed my arms and shrugged my shoulders slightly.

"Life is all about being awkward Hailey." He laughed and it sent this weird feeling through me. "Tomorrow come over at 9am and we'll have our first official date." He smiled.

"Ok, that's a little early though?" I smiled back.

"I have work later that day." He rolled his eyes. "Oh and wear something you aren't afraid to make a mess in." He laughed.

"Why?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Just do it. Now I have to get back to work." He walked backwards, lifting my hand slightly.

I hadn't noticed he was holding it. That'd explain the tingles in my hand though. His hand slipped from mine and it fell limp at my side.

"See you at 9 am." He winked and turned around.

I made my way out the store. I waited a a few paces away for court and deli. They appeared at my sides.

"Soooo?" Deli looped her arms through mine.

"Tomorrow we have out first official date." I tried to make it seem like it was no big deal but on the inside I was bursting with euphoria.

"She's growing up so fast." Deli wiped her fake tears and court laid her head on my shoulder.
