Alrightttt Dawn's story :^)
Dawn woke up to a sunny morning. She stretched her legs and walked out of her den. She smiled and decided to go hunting. She sniffed the air and got the sweet scent of prey. "This is a great morning" Dawn said to herself. After hunting for a little bit, there was a rustle in the bushes. Dawn looked at the bush, suspiciously. After a minute, a snake slithered from the bush. "Hello there" it hissed. "W-who are you?" Dawn asked, scared. "No need to worry. I am not a predator. I am here to help you." The Snake hissed. "Why are you here...?" Dawn asked, still suspicious of the snake. "I'm only here to make a deal" the snake hissed. "What's the deal....?" Dawn asked. "Well, I know your father, we are good friendssssss. I tend to watch you every now again and I notice every night you keep watch till Dawn. You always look exhausted.... And I can tell you don't like hunting in the morning. BUT I have a way for you to not get tired from watch. Not only will you not be tired....but you will be able to protect your family for much longer. Its possible for predators to come after dawn. The only way to do this is for you to let me enter your mind." The snake hissed. Dawn thought about the offer for a moment "how can I let you into my mind?" Dawn asked curiously. "Simple, if you close your eyes and I wrap around your neck, I will be able to enter your head." The snake hissed with a smile. Dawn wasn't sure what to think of it....but if the snake was really her father's friend, he wouldn't harm her. "Ok...I'll do it..." Dawn said. "Excellent choice, young one" the snake hissed with an amused tone. Dawn closed her eyes and let the snake wrap around her neck. Here goes nothing she thought. A moment after, she heard a voice in her head. Open your eyes. Dawn opened her eyes to see the snake was gone. She then walked back to her den and realized it was almost time for her to go on watch. This is it. The Snake said to her. Dawn had the feeling she did something terribly wrong.
4 hours later
Its time. The snake said. Dawn walked out of the den and sat there, looking out on watch. Once he'd family was asleep, the snake started to say weird things. Kill. Get rid of them. KILL THEM ALL. "What are you doing?!?" Dawn asked. KILL. After that, Dawn lost it. She ran into her den and killed her family, tearing at their bodies with her sharp claws, blood stained everywhere. After she finished, Dawn regained her sanity. "N-NO!" Dawn cried. She growled and clawed at her head, hoping to get rid of the snake, but instead she clawed her eye. She shrieked in pain. Suddenly, a mask appeared in front of Dawn. Cover that eye with that. Idiot. Dawn put the mask on, and the snake had left her head and went to the mask, she couldn't remove it from her head. "Why are you doing this to me...." Dawn whimpered. "Why....".
Dawn then continued to live her life in guilt. Every now and then, the mask would make her go insane.
