They found an empty table in the back of the café where the noise wasn't that loud and sat down, facing each other. Laura the waitress immediately rushed to them to take orders from familiar faces.
„What can I get you?" She asked her co-worker.
„Vanilla capuccino, please," Perrie ordered after taking off her leather jacket.
„You know how hard it is to use that vanilla thingy without spilling it everywhere and you order vanilla capuccino," Laura faked an annoyed expression and Perrie, not knowing her very well yet, believed her.
„Right, sorry. Then I'll take -" she started but Laura interrupted her.
„Come on, I was kidding. I'll kick vanilla's ass, don't worry. And Jade? As always?" Laura raised her eyebrows and nodded, as if already expecting the answer. Needless to say, she really was right.
„Of course," Jade smiled and Laura turned on her heels to get them their drinks.
„What's your as always?" Perrie asked once they were alone again.
„Viennese melange and lemon water," Jade said while putting her hands on the table where she interlocked her fingers casually.
„Lemon water?" Perrie wondered. „You didn't order lemon water the other day."
„That day I stopped by on my way from work. I don't drink lemon water here when I go to work because that's when I bring my own lemon water from home," Jade explained.
„Why do you drink it now, then? You just left work," Perrie continued her investigation.
„Because I feel that today is gonna be a special day," Jade smiled slightly.
„Really? What makes it special?" The blonde girl asked once again.
„Whatever I decide."
