Chapter 8: Garoth

When I got in the car I couldn't help but admire the rose Garoth had given me. It was beautiful

Garoth: You know I would say that rose is beautiful but with you sitting there you beat it out of the park.

I laughed then started to blush.

Garoth: Well miss Aphmau, let's go have some fun *smiles*

We had been driving for about 20 minutes when we pulled into the mall.

Aphmau: What are we doing here?

Garoth: You'll see

He smiled as he turned of the engine And opened his door. I went to open mine but before I could Garoth had already opened it for me.

Aphmau: Thank you.

Garoth: No Problem

We walk arm in arm through the mall. I look at all the stores there are there, since I've never been the this mall I'm quite curious. Garoth just the suddenly stopped.

Garoth: Here we are!

I looked in front of us and there was a hudge arcade

Aphmau: This is amazing!

I admired every bit of the arcade to its black but quite colorful carpet, to the the playful kids and all of the other people, to the Stuffed animals and Junk food at the main desk.

Garoth: I'm glad you like it. Well now instead up looking let's get playing!

We both giggled happily and then ran into the arcade.

We went up the the main desk to get some tokens for the for the games.

Garoth: Hi I would like to get 100 tokens please.

Cashier: No Problem that would be twenty dallors.

I looked at Garoth as he handed the Cashier the money. I can't believe he's freely willing to pay that price. We got the tokens then went to play some games.

Aphmau: I say we should play air hockey. * I smirk and look at Garoth*

Little does he know I'm the best at air hockey.

Garoth: Your on *smirks back*

I put a token in the machine and grabbed the puck and gave it to garoth.

Aphmau: Here I think you will need this.

Garoth: Pfft no you need it more *says giggling*

Aphmau: Ok then..

~can't remeber the name of the blur and red handle things that you use to hit the puck with for the life of me Sooo I'm just going to call it the handle~

I put the puck on the table and lightly hit it to Garoth. He then lightly hits it back to me.

Garoth: is that the best you can do?

Aphmau: *grins* I'm just getting started.

I tighten my grip on the handle. I got the blue one. I always get the blue one. I then suddenly unlocked my gaze on my blue handle and squinted torawds Garoth. Grinning I hit the puck as hard as I could. Garoth took it was a surprise and didn't have time to react. His eyes just widend as he could but just help watching the puck slide into his goal.

Garoth: This just got alot more interesting.

He pulled the puck out of his slot and put in the middle of the table. It slowly drifted towards Garoth, so in return he hit it with all of his might. It had ricocheted off the wall where I then hit it quickly back. We hit it back and forth and back and forth neither of us being able to get it in the each other's goal. It went on for about 10 minutes then I finally won. 10 to 7.

Aphmau: Yay! I won I always win!

Garoth: You were just lucky. I bet you can't win at that racing game over there.

Aphmau: Oh boy now your on!

We played for quite a long time, me never being able to bet him.

Garoth: Ha another win for Garoth.

Aphmau: Grr you may have won at racing but I bet you in air hockey!!

Garoth: Haha

Aphmau*giggles*

Garoth: Why don't we go get some food.

We got pizza and sat down at a dark blue table in the arcade. Laughing throughout our conversation it seemed like time was passing way too quickly.

After eating we decided to play some claw games. We were walking through what seemed like hundreds of different claw games, for those big sticky balls, others for small beenie stuffed animals, and many other things. I stopped when a particular claw game caught my eye. There was a big stuffed cat. It was grey with purple spots. It was a Japanese cat. It had wiskers and squinted eyes

~Some off you may know Jinbop. Well basically it looks like muffin his stuffed cat just grey and purple~

Aphmau: Its so cute! *points at cat*

Garoth: *grins* why don't you play for it then?

Aphmau: Ok let's do this * I giggle excited and put a token into the machine*

Garoth took the machine next to me, hoping to get a small green monkey. I moved my claw towards the cute stuffed cat hoping for the best. I never was good at claw games, in fact it's probably my weakness at arcades and carnivals. I always would spend all of my money on the stupied games always coming empty handed. My heart pounding I swivled the joy stick closer to the cat. Then Bam! I hit the big red button releasing the claw to grab somthing on its way down. But sadly it didn't grab anything this time.

Aphmau: Darn! Not far enough! *lightly hits machine*

I look over at Garoth who also missed his target. I quickly pulled another token out of my pocket and put it in the games slot.

Aphmau: Ok I got this

My claw missed the cat a second Time being to far the the left.

Aphmau: missed it again *sigh*

Garoth: let me try.

Garoth took over my claw game and put a token in its slot. I eat he'd the claw closely seeing its ever move.

Aphmau: come on you got this!

Then at the same time I spoke the claw had grabbed the cat picking it up and slowly dragging it to the hole.

Aphmau: *jumps up and down* Yay Garoth you did it!

He grabbed the cat out of the hole and held it out to me. Instead of grabbing it and hugging it I hugged Garoth instead.

Aphmau: Thank you!

Garoth: Your welcome. *looks at clock, shows 9:26* we should be going home soon.

Aphmau: Ok let's go.

Before we left Garoth bought me cotton candy. We walked out to the car, Garoth snagged a bit of cotton candy and. I laughed. On the way home we sang along to cheesy songs like what so you mean, and I really like you. When we got to my house we had already eaten all of the cotton candy and I was super tired. Garoth walked me up to my door and hugged me.

Garroth: I Had fun tonight.

Aphmau: Me too, I'm glad you had taken me it was a blast! *yawn*

Garoth: it looks like your tired you should get some sleep.

Aphmau: Ok thank you for everything

Garoth: No problem! Maybe I will see you tomorrow

Aphmau: We will see!

I walked inside hugging my stuffed cat. My mom was already asleep and I was beat. Time to sleep I thought walking up the stairs. I had barley made it to my room then falling straight on to my bed. When I drifted to sleep little did I know Laurence had texted me.
