Loving Imperfections

"Love is not about finding the perfect person; it's all about seeing an imperfect person perfectly."

This quotation is very simple, yet it means a lot to me.  Love is really not about finding the perfect person; it is all about learning to accept people's imperfections. If you believe that someday you'll find the perfect guy, well I'm very sorry to say, but you'll never find him. You'll stay loveless. You know why? Just read the quotation above. Plus, nobody's perfect.
It does not literally mean that in order for you to know if you truly love a person, you have to see him perfectly despite his flaws. What I simply want to say is that you have to learn to love an imperfect person perfectly that even though you see his mistakes, his weaknesses, you still love him; you believe that without these, he is not himself, that these flaws are what makes him who he really is.

Why am I writing all these? It's because I'm feeling in love. I think I truly love someone in the meantime. When I see his mistakes, I don't hate him for that, this may sound cliché but it makes me love him more. I am proud to say that I've found the person that makes me feel loved; the person that makes me want to make everything right. He makes me want to be a better person.

Just like everybody else, before, I believed that someday I'll find the perfect or rather the ALMOST perfect man. But I woke up in reality and realized that I will never find that person. We are all made by God far from perfection; nobody is close to perfection. God made us to love each other --- to love each other's defects.
In love, we don't have to change ourselves for someone. You just have to be who you really are and wait for the one that will appreciate you for that. There is a perfect time for love. Oh, and one thing more: Don't be the one searching for it, make it search for you. It comes unexpectedly. Love just comes naturally.

*I wrote this two years ago and I was young and foolishly in love. Forgive me if this is so corny. I cringed while I read this.
