Final Nights at THoMC's

Closer to the Truth

Ty POV (cuz why not?)

I unlock the gate to the park, entering the building. It was eerily quiet.
"Dean?" I call, getting worried. He should've been waiting outside. 'Well... Maybe he hasn't finished packing up...' I check my watch. 'Okay... It's 6:10... He definitely should've been outside waiting.' I start jogging toward the office. "DEAN?!" I pause seeing something on the office windows. I enter the office, screaming at the sight I was greeted by. Blood covered everything, and Dean lay on the floor, nearly torn apart. His eyes wide with terror. A tear falls down my face. I can't imagine the terror he went through in his final moments. His phone lay near his hand, and I pick it up, wiping away the blood. Dean had tried sending a text to Danielle, but it had failed to send. I set the phone on the table, closing Dean's eyes. I wipe the blood on my hands onto my jeans. I take out my phone and call Danielle. She answers on the fourth ring.
"Hello?"
"Um... Danielle..."
"Everything okay Ty? What's wrong?!"
"I'm sorry... Dean... He's dead..."
"W-what?" She asks, voice trembling. "I-I'm on my way."
"Okay... I'm so sorry Danielle."
"Mhmm." She says, hanging up.

***few minutes later***
Danielle POV 

I race into the building, desperately hoping that this was just some sick joke. But that small ray of hope vanishes when I saw the office. Anger fills me, overpowering my sadness. I whirl around, marching toward the Nether.
"Where are you going?!" Ty yelps, following after me a little.
"ANUBIS!!! I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!" I scream, yanking the curtains open. Herobrine reactivates, following my movements as I march past him. Anubis activates as well, just as I stop in front of the six foot tall robot. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!!!" She tilts her head. "STOP PLAYING STUPID! YOU KILLED DEAN!!!"
"W-WASNT m-me..." She says, smirking faintly.
"STOP LYING!!!" She smirks more.
"N-n-no BL-blood on m-me... N-no proof-f."
"THEN WHO THE HELL WAS IT!!!?" She doesn't reply but just stands there grinning at me. I turn and walk away from her, marching over to Herobrine. The eight foot five animatronic calmly looks at me as I examine him for fresh blood. All there was, were the old blood stains on him from his last kill. "Who was it!" He shakes his head like, "no idea.". Ty pokes his head into the room.
"Are you... Um... Okay?"
"We need to find out who did it...." Was my reply.
"It wasn't Anubis?"
"No... But I think she had some part in it. And Herobrine won't speak."
"Oh his voice box malfunctioned earlier..."
"Seriously?"
"Yup." Ty says. Herobrine looks at his feet.
"Y-y-yeah." He says, voice extremely staticy and slightly squeaky. I can't help but giggle at the way he sounded. He covers his face with his hands. Ty smiles a bit.
"Don't worry buddy. You're getting repaired later."
"M-m-my a-arm?"
"Yup, and your voice box. Pluses those knife hits." Ty says, pointing to a large tear in Herobrine's outer shell. Ty frowns. "At least the park's already closed for the day...."
"Yeah... Let's go find who did this." We leave the Nether.
"I know this might be a bit ridiculous..." Ty says as we walk down one of the many hallways. "But what if it wasn't one of the animatronics..."
"You're saying someone broke in and mutilated my boyfriend?"
"Told you it was ridiculous." He says shrugging with a sigh. He stops in front of the maintenance room. Pushing the door open. I gasp in shock. Not only was Zeke covered in blood, but was completely destroyed.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?!"
"Some kids destroyed him... And it looks like he took his anger out on Dean. I didn't realize he still was operational."
Ty sighs, grabbing a rag and wiping off as much blood as he could before it completely dried and stained the animatronic. Zeke shifts, making Ty jump back. The animatronic looks at me quickly, before looking away toward the floor.
"S-sorry." He says in a quiet voice.
"Why'd you do it Zeke."
"I w-w-was up-pset." He looks at me with his empty black eye. "And he insulted me."
"Anything else you have to say for yourself? Did Anubis do anything to make you really want to hurt him?" The animatronic looks back at the ground.
"Ehh... W-w-well... Mayb-be."
"Zeke." I say firmly. "Tell us." He makes a whining screech of a sound.
"sh-she kinda e-egged me on-n."
"If she wasn't egging you on... Would you have killed him?"
"N-no, maybe scare... Not kill. I don't like blood really. Never have..."
"Okay, so I do have a reason to kick her ass." Zeke looks back down.
"S-sorry...." He mutters before falling silent and going still. Ty finishes wiping the animatronic down.
"Ugh.." He sighs. "Better call THoMC co..." He mutters and walks into the hall. I give Zeke on last glance before walking after Ty.  He wanders outside the building, and I remain inside. I cough a few times, still being sick. There's a sudden crash and a familiar animatronic scream. I go running toward the noise, finding Anubis and Sky fighting again. Anubis let out quiet yelps each time Sky smacks her in the head. Herobrine stood watching, looking amused. Anubis gets free and scrambles off a small distance.
"There are going to be some ch-changes around here." Sky says, voice glitching for the first time. "Your shit stops." He growls, pointing to Anubis who glares at him. She folds her arms as best she could, metal joints creaking.
"M-m-m-ma-make me." She says, eyes narrowed.  Sky glares back. I pull out my iPod, wanting to get this on video to show Ty.
"What did you say?" Sky asks, though it was more of a dare.
"I s-s-said... M-M-MAKE ME-E!!!" Anubis screams, charging Sky. But suddenly Herobrine shoots his arm out, catching the smaller animatronic in the chest, knocking her over. At the same time there's the sound of tearing metal, and Herobrine's arm falls off. He stares town at it, mouth open in surprise. He groans, grabbing it with his good arm, and trudging into the Nether.
"S-s-stupid a-arm..." He grumbles to himself. Anubis sits up, but remains on the floor. Sky walks away with a shrug. I end the video, laughing quietly to myself. Guess Herobrine and Sky kicked her ass for me. Anubis gets up with difficulty, and she just stands there.
"You were never like this Anubis... What happened to you?" She turns to look at me. Her eyes narrow slightly.
"Y-y-you try b-b-being m-murdered..." She snaps.
"They caught him though."
"Not t-true... W-wrong per-s-son... M-murderer st-still out th-there... H-his work n-n-not finished..." She says, before walking away. A cold chill goes down my spine. I run after her.
"What do you mean 'not finished'?!" She looks at me, pausing.
"Y-your still al-alive..." She says softly, walking away again. A heavy feeling of dread descends on me.
"Anubis?" I say, making her turn to face me. I had to ask her a question that's been bothering me for a while.
"W-w-wha-what?"
"Why do you keep trying to kill me?" She turns to face me fully.
"I-I-I don't w-want to... I-I'm just t-trying to s-scare you o-out of this t-town... I'm trying to k-k-keep you s-safe... If y-you die in the p-pr-process... S-s-so be it-t..." She takes a step away, before turning back toward me. "You k-know he was h-here b-b-before? W-we s-s-scared him of-ff... But he'll b-be back... He a-always d-does... And w-we won't a-al-always be h-here to s-stop him." She says walking away for the third time, but I don't chase after. I stand there in shock and terror, letting her words sink in.
'She's been trying to protect me all this time?'
"DANIELLE?!" Ty yells.
"Y-YEAH?!" I reply back, and he comes running down the hall.
"Are you okay? I've been looking for you."
"y-yeah.... I guess so..."
"You sure?"
"I just got told some scary shit...." I say, telling him what Anubis showed me.
"Well... Fuck..." Ty grumbles, "that is some scary shit..."
"Oh... Herobrine's arm broke off..."
"Are you serious?!" I nod, showing him the video. He rolls his eyes.
"What are we going to do with those animatronics?" He says in exasperation. I shrug, a half grin on my face.
"So... What's the company gonna do."
"No idea... They're sending some people down..."
"Oh..."
"And the repair guy is coming at three." I look at my watch, then at Ty.
"Well it's 7:15 right now... Do you want me to stay here with you?"
"It's up to you." He replies.
"I'll stay.. Don't really know how safe it is right now."
"Yeah that's true...let's check up on the other animatronics..."
"Why?"
"Why not... It'll take at least an hour for the THoMC representative to show up.."
"Oh okay."
