Genevieve's POV
I held my breath.
"BOTH OF YOU STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE WITH YOUR HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM!"
Louis and I slowly exited the car with our hands by our head.
"Well well well. If it isn't Louis Tomlinson." the cop sneered.
"Officer Rugford." Louis greeted through clenched teeth.
"And who's this innocent little tart you've dragged down with you this time?" I felt the officer's eyes bore into me.
"She's not a tart, she's my girlfriend." Lou growled.
"Keep quiet Tomlinson!" Officer Rugford snapped.
The officer circled me like a hungry lion on the prowl.
"She's rather good looking." he mumbled.
"Yeah I know." Louis said, his voice dripping with 'Duh'
"I said shut up you insect!" he shouted.
The officer's eyes flicked back to me.
"Maybe this will shut you up..." He smirked.
Before I could blink, I was slapped in the face.
HARD.
"YOU ASS!" Louis lunged at Officer Rugford.
"Louis no!" I screamed for the second time tonight.
But again, I was too late.
Only this time, a gunshot sounded instead of shattering glass.
