Song of the chapter- it's my birthday

I woke up early. It's my 15th birthday today...SHIT! I know other people love their birthdays but not me. My birthday is the always the worst day of every year. Cheesy cards,crappy cakes,presents...
Oh wait I don't get presents because I don't deserve them. On second thoughts I don't get a cake or a card not off my parents anyway. I always get stuff is like though. Every birthday since I was 6 I've got a card,a present and a massive hug off my best friend luke.
He's one of the most caring,giving and forgiving people I know.
He's put up with me for a long time. He's also the most annoying,jealous and hot headed people on the planet if you piss him off.
Aswell as Luke I have 2 other best friend: Ash and Calum.
We used to be have another friend called micheal but he left about 2 years ago. we don't speak much anymore.
He stills rings me on every birthday and he sends me a Christmas card now and again.
Anyway back to real time.
I woke up early and got ready for school.
I ran down stairs, got my coat on,grabbed my bag and opened the door. I didn't even get a chance to step outside before someone grabbed me ,screamed happy birthday in my face and jumped up in the air.
"ASH!!!" I screamed "WHAT THE FUCK IM STILL HALF A SLEEP!!!"
"Calm yourself girl! I just wanted to say happy birthday to my best friend!"
He said sulking
"one of your best friends" said Luke coming up to me and passing me a gift bag and envelope.
"happy birthday silv"
"Thanks Luke" I said smiling
"Go on open it then!!!" Screamed Calum.
"God where did you come from???"
I said shocked.
"Your dreams" he said laughing
Luke and Ash both sighed and rolled their eyes
"You mean my nightmares" I said grinning.
Luke and ash started laughing their heads off.
Calum obviously pissed off mumbled "hurry up losers we have an assessment"
Luke and ash stopped laughing
I just sighed.
I never took assessments seriously, probably the reason my mum hates me so much....
First things first....I'm the realist.
