The Following Day. . .

I woke up early today, it was Sunday so I guess it's time to clean up this enormous house I was left with. I rose from my bed and I went straight to the bathroom.

I spent half the day cleaning the house. After that I decided to paint so I went up to my room and painted the day away. This is how I spend my days I paint, I clean, I write, I surf the net, I cook and I sleep. Since I didn't want to be a burden to my parents I learned sign language by myself.

Before I realized it was already 7:30 pm! I forgot to buy the groceries! I grabbed my wallet and scarf and ran out the door because the store nearest to my home is open only until 8:20 pm. Luckily, I made it in time. "oh Hana-chan you're quite late today", the store manager said. I bowed to him and hurriedly grabbed a basket and took out my list but the manager swifty took both items and finished the deed himself, his name was Tybalt, he was my best friend since I was a child, we're like  brother and sister.

He carried my basket to the cashier and unloaded it. As I waited he asked me, "so how're you doing?". I can read lips so I can basically understand him and he learned sign language for me so I replied using my fingers, "I'm fine". He smiled and nodded, "that's good ". I paid for the groceries afterwards then I lifted the plastic bag with one hand. As I was about to leave Tybalt rushed after me and asked, "Want me to take you home?". I shook my head and replied  "No thanks, I have to go somewhere first". He eyes turned into slits , "And WHERE exactly are you going at this time of NIGHT?". I replied"It's a secret" before I dashed off.

The place that I was going to was the park because I wanted to see how the trees were doing since winter is about to come. I walked slowly to the abandoned park and sat on one of the rusted swings. There I stared at the crisp leaves falling from the trees.

Then suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder! I slowly turned around to find the yakuza guy again! Before I had the chance to run away again he quickly got my grocery bag so I couldn't leave. I stopped and he motioned for me to sit down. I sat on the swing again the strange yakuza man stared at me for almost an eternity with the scariest yakuza look you could EVER imagine! He even had the signature cigare- wait. . Is that a lollipop?

After an eternity has passed he motioned for he's ear then he pointed at me. I didn't quite understand it at first and then realized he was asking if I was deaf so I nodded.

Kyo's POV

I was walking by the abandoned park tonight again. I remembered that girl last night.

Flashback

I was taking a rest from my ambush from a syndicate. I dragged my feet until I reached the park and I was surprised to see a girl staring at the night sky like a lost child. I was about to ask her what she was doing here when I spotted a man sneaking up from behind her. His hands twisting in an eerie way as he came closer, licking his thick chapped lips, a pervert!

I dashed towards the man, punching his stomach with pure rage! The man collapsed on the spot, clutching his abdomen and started shouting at me curses but that didn't bother me, I was more concerned about the girl. She was sitting there like nothing happened then I realized, She couldn' t hear it.

So I tried to warn her about going to the park alone but when I tapped her on the shoulder, one look and she ran away from me. Am I that scary?
