Heartbroken
I ache as my dreams burn
Leaving only ashes of trust
My heart is being drained of faith
You have laid the foundation of my disbelief system
Memories of you choke
Smiles, laughs, hopes and dreams out of my future
My devotion, no, obsession with you is all gone now
And my hands are full of regrets,
I am left with only tears
What did I do wrong?
Did I fail you again?
Then why are you the one wrapped up in shame
Lying on your bed of guilt?
Your sorries won’t mend my heart
You regrets are futile
You have left scars so deep
Don’t know when they will heal…
