Misheru's POV
I woke up on a bed. Wait, I remembered sleeping on the floor. Where am I?
"Time you woke up, Misheru. How are you feeling?" a husky yet familiar voice said. It was my Onii-chan. I smiled and nodded. "A bit better. But still in a bit pain and aching." I replied. Onii-chan sighed. "You. Stay in bed while I wil do both my and your duties." he said.
"No" I replied," I'll do it myself."
"No, i will be doing it. Stay in bed."
"No."
"Yes, you are."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"No."
"Ye- Wait a second. You tricked me, Onii- chan." I said. "You are staying in bed and that is official." Onii-chan said firmly. I sadly and reluctantly nodded while he walked out the door. "Get well soon, Misheru." he said and left.
"Sissy!" a small voice cried out. I woke up to see my sister with a sandwich.
"I stole it. Quickly eat it before Ms. Hitas comes." she said. I nodded and quickly ate it until every crumb is gone.
"Thanks, Akira." I whispered. She nodded and quickly left the room. Speaking of the devil, Hikaru and Ms. Hitas comes in after my sister left few minutes ago.
"You go tommorow to Raimon but you will recieve no breakfast, lunch or dinner. That is official." Ms. Hitas said. I widened my eyes. No breakfast, lunch or dinner? This lady is mad.
"You will only recieve a piece of bread in the weekend. If you do your chores well. Right, Ms Hitas?" Hikaru said sweetly.
"Yes, darling. Now let's leave. And you, Misheru, GET TO WORK!!!" Ms. Hitas said and left. I stood up, but still aching, and went down. I saw all the orphanage kids, who are done doing their chores, looking at me and quickly helped me to clean the dirty yet dusty floor. I felt tears on the rim of my eyes and whispered, "Arigato, minna." They smiled and replied," This is what friends do. You help us clean ours when we are tired. You also took the beating for us. So, we decided to help." I smiled back.
"Misheru, get to bed. Others, DINNER TIME!!!!" Ms.Hitas's dreadful voice echoed.
"Coming!" they said. they gave me a look saying 'we-will-give-you-food-later' and left. I felt happy to have such good friends. They catch me whenever I fall down. I then went to bed and fell asleep few minutes later.
