I rolled over slightly looking up at the alarm clock it always almost 4:00 am
I got up out of bed
And walked to the living room
It was cooler in there my feet touching the cold tile
I walked into the bathroom and put on my bathing suit and a rash guard
I walk out into the kitchen and walk past the sleeping boys
I open the door quietly and walked out onto the front porch
Josh was leaned up against the railing
Smoking
I sneak up next to him and take the cigarette out between his fingers and Crush it
" you know I herd you right" he said
" oh well you are killing yourself with all this smoking"
" what are you doing up so early " he asked looking at me in my battling suit  and dash guard" oh you are going early morning surfing" he said with a smirk
I nodded my head " you wanna come" I asked
" sure why not" he said and ran inside and got his trunks on
He walked back outside
" do you know how to surf" I asked
" I lived in Cali for 17 years yes I know how to surf " he said
We walked across the street and onto the beach
We were both carrying our surfboards
I walk over to a good spot and dump my surfboard and my towel
I yell" hey hunter you surfing today" knowing he was in the water or sitting in the life guards stand
I see a head pop up from the guard stand
" hell yes" he said and jumped down and ran over
" wait sky I thought it was just going to be us" said Josh
" oh sorry hunter is always here early in the morning" I said
" oh" he said and looked down at the sand
He picked up aboard and walked to the water and jumped in
He paddled out to the waves and stood up on the board
I turned to hunter
" how'd you know I was gonna be here " he asked wagging his eyebrows
I shrugged my shoulders
He nodded his head
"Well are you coming" I asked
Running to the water

" oh you wait till my nails are dry to whoop your ass" yelled gabby at Jake
I giggled
I dropped my surfboard in the driveway and walked into the house
" you know I can hear you from outside" I said to gabby
She smiled and applied another coat of nail polish to her nails
" why are you all wet" she asked
" that's what she said" I herd from the kitchen it sounded like Jake
" well you better whatch out cause I don't have nail polish and can still whoop your ass" I yelled back
Gabby laughed
" I went surfing " I said to her
She nodded
" what time did u go" she asked
" 4:00 ish " I said
She looked at me with wide eyes
Almost like they would pop out of her scull
" what"
" four in the morning" she said
I nodded
" wow " she said I shrugged
I walked outside to the outside shower
And rinsed off
I shut the shower off and opens up the door
Josh was sitting in the patio furniture I guess waiting for me to get out
" oh sorry I wanted to rinse off, why shower when we are probably going back down" I said
He didn't say anything
" hey earth to Josh"
"Huh" he said looking up
" is everything alright "
He nodded and looked like he was in deep thought
I moved closer towards him till I was standing right in front of him
" Josh" I said again
He looked like he was going to explode with angriness
" talk to me" I said
" my mum called" he said looking down at his hands
" what??!!" I asked " why"
" she needs me back, or she won't get her money back from the state for me " he said
" I am leaving for Cali tomorrow" he said
I had no words
I couldn't say anything
I was trying but nothing was coming out of my mouth
All I could manage to say was " you can't"
" sky it doesn't matter " he said and got up and walked past me

That night I couldn't fall asleep
My mind was racing
And thoughts were swirling around
I herd a car pull up
I quickly ran to see who it was
It was a taxi and Josh was getting in it
The door closed and
I ran outside to stop him
Then the taxi drove off.....
