Chapter 6

Jacobs Pov:
"Jacob your house looks oddly like a night club." Daniel laughed. "Yeah I get told that a lot" I laughed. We walked in when everyone yelled "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL." Including me. Daniel looked so happy smiling and thanking everyone, he told everyone to have fun. Some girls nearly fainted in his presence, I went off to find Lilly. "Hey" Lilly tapped me on the shoulder. I began to turn around "hey I was just looking for woah." I couldn't help but notice how nice Lilly looked, I've never seen her like this. "Haha thanks." She smiled "I was talking about the pizza you're eating but you look pretty good too." I joked. "Shut up Sartorius you don't look so bad yourself." Lilly laughed. "Daniel! Come here I want you to meet someone." I said signaling Daniel over to me and Lilly. "Daniel this is Lilly, Lilly this is Daniel." I introduced them to eachother. "Hi I'm Lilly. Well I think Jacob just told you that...wow I sound really dorky now, I'm gonna go get some punch." Lilly said and walked off, Daniel walked up to me "awe she's cute." He laughed. "She's mine dude." I said in response. "Don't get salty to me Jacob, let me have fun it's my birthday." Daniel joked. I had to go let Lilly know I liked her before Daniel took her away. "Hey Lilly can we talk." I said. "Yeah sure what's up." She replied while sipping on her punch. "Somewhere more private." I asked, and we walked over to a spot no one was at. "Lilly I just wanted to say I like you a lot." I gulped. "Awe Jacob I like you too." Lilly responded. "So will you be my girlfriend." I ran my fingers through my quiffed hair , something I did when I was nervous. "Jacob....I'm sorry but no. I don't want a boyfriend right now." She walked off.
Lilly's Pov:
I just lied, lied right to my bestfriends face...why'd I do that, of course I wanted to be his girlfriend but I didn't want to mess up our friendship. Well looks like he didn't take it very hard, I looked over to see something that made my heart sink... I ran into the bathroom and began to cry.
