Next Summer [Dipcifica]

Day 1

I'm back. The place really has changed. Mabel and I have just came to town for the summer. Stan and Ford took some time off from their hunt for anomalies. They both took ownership of the Mystery Shack for the summer. As soon as I got off the bus Pacifica surprisingly was the first to great me. She ran over to me and gave me a huge bear hug. "Whats up llama?" I asked. "Nothing much. How bout you pine tree?" She replied chuckling. "Any news about weirdmageddon? I whispered. Before I left I asked Pacifica to watch the town for me. I told her to watch out for any signs that Bill is returning. " Nothing, except for one thing." Pacifica said. "What is it?!" I said angrily. "I think I better show you" she replied.

"This is it" Pacifica said. I was astonished. There were no statutes of Bill when he took over the town, so this one near the shack got me thinking. "It's a statue of Bill. But how?" I thought. Then it hit me. Bill is not dead yet.

Pacifica and I went back to town and I asked her what was new. "Well Sheriff Blubbs and the deputy are married now." Pacifica said. At first I was going to laugh, but the image of that statue was just implanted into my brain. I couldn't hold on my question any longer. "How long ago did that statue appear?" I asked. "A few days after you left." She replied. Then my second question arose. "Will you go to a movie with me?" I blurted without thinking. "I thought you would never ask." Pacifica replied smiling.
