I lay.
The sand is warm on my skin.
I lay with my eyes closed.
I listen to the buzz of the world, the crashing of the waves.
My hair matches the colour of the sand. It is a shade darker then tan, but lighter than brown.

I then feel something smooth touch my right shoulder. It is warm like skin, a hand.
I jerk up and open my eyes. I relies that it was just a dream and that I am still lying in my bed, in my house, in my very own room.
I look around my Robbin egg blue bedroom. There is still a white desk sitting in the first corner of the room and my bed in the second. There is a chair pulled up to my bed, my sister Abigail sitting in it.
Watching me.

My sister, Abigail is nine and a half years old. Four years younger than me.
" oh abi, you don't have to stay up. Go back to bed I'm ok, it's probably just the flu."I say.

I have been feeling light headed and weak for about thirteen days now. I don't know why, Mom is going to take me to the Colorado Heath hospital tomorrow. That is the nearest hospital from hear. Which is 16 miles away, still less than thirty minutes but feels like forever.

***

As we walk into CHH the stench of hospital hits me, it smells like hand sanitizer and cleaner. I reach for the hand sanitizer after walking to the waiting room. I wait and wait and wait, I finally hear my name. The lady at the front desk calls out "Hannah Miller" I raise from my seat and walk over to the desk. She hands me a folder with a green label on it, I walk to the room told on the label. I stop at room 509, as I walk in I notice the doctor getting ready for examination. I notice the red chair in the corner with the same folder I have now. I walk over to the bed table thing that they lay you on. I sit on the edge and cross me left leg over me right. I wonder is it the flu? Could it be worse.??!
