My Love, My Bed And My Cat

Summer past and player past.

I turned around in my bed to switch off my alarm clock.

"Shiiiiiiiiiit!!!! I'm gonna be late for school!".

"Hey sweetie" said my mum in her annoyingly possitive voice " I told you to come eat breakfast but you didn't want to move."

"Thanks mom! Now I m gonna get detention because of you. Crap my bus left. Can you please give me a ride?"

"This is the last time Jen!"

I arrived to school ten minutes late. My geography teacher, Mr Clark said "Well what a good way to start the year, isn't it Jenny?." I wanted to strangle him. As always my best friend Clara was waiting for me in front of my locker on break.

"What's up?" She asked

"I got a late detention."

"Lol! Anyways do you want to hear the latest gossip?"

That's how my best friend worked. Gossip was like oxygen or food for her, she needed it to survive.

"Sooo? Whatever I'll tell you anyways. Rumour has it there's a new girl in our year. She's like some famous teen singer."

"What's her name?"

"Lola Akens aka Lolz"

"Oh my god not her!!!"

"Do you know her?"

I haden't told Clara but I knew her too well.
We had met last summer when I was spending a month in Spain. My boyfriend John had joined me for a week. At first it was amazing. Make out sessions on the beach during sunset, romantic dinners and trips to the the beautifful city of Andora. Until the fatal day.

John had invited me to a super posh reastaurant for our second aniversary. Everything went smoothly. When it was time to go, John tripped and made somebody's scarf fall. It was none other than Lolz's scarf. She started screaming at him but at the end fell under his charm and asked for his number. I didn't say anything, after all he did just trip over her 275$ worth silk scarf, and she was a celebrity.

Two weeks later, when I came back home to Miami, I found none other then Lolz having sex with my boyfriend, in the same bed I had lost my virginty. Immediately I broke it off with John and called Lolz a bitch. I haven't seen or talked to any of them since then.

Well this year is going to be akward...
