Therapy in the Seers Eyes

Chapter 3

(Hey guys I'm sorry for the lake of updates. School and shit. I would just like to say that my headcannon for Kankri is that he listens to Imagine Dragons. In my opinion it describe him more about how he feels inside. So I have to listen to them to get inspiration to write this haha. Again sorry.)

Kankri:

After having the human girl find her way to her room you went to yours. You took off your work uniform and put on your normal clothes. It was hard to go to work now and again. That suit just felt so uncomfortable. You left your shoes off because you didn't want anything to get dirty.

Walking out of your room you went downstairs and grabbed your favorite book to read. In your opinion reading helps you think on current situation, but Porrim thinks it's to ignore everyone. You don't understand why but that's her opinion. You sat there for twenty minutes when you felt a tap on your shoulder and jumped turning around seeing her.

"Y9u kn9w it's inappr9priate t9 tap 9n s9me9mes sh9ulder. What if they d9nt like physical c9ntact? 9r what w9uld happen if y9u scared them t9 the p9int that they fainted, even th9ugh it w9uld never g9 that far, 6ut still."

She stood there in silents staring at you. You were a bit confused until she spoke in a soft manner.

"I'm sorry.. You told me to come down and you were reading so I didn't know how to approach you.."

You let out a soft sigh and put the book down and patted the seat next to you. She walked around and sat down. She seemed really shy to you, like she didn't know what to say.

"KANKRI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR DINNER!?"

You sighed and rubbed your temples. Why did he have to yell.

"We are having lasagna t9night. Is that fine with y9u?"

"FINE AFTER DINNER IM STAYING AT CAPTORS PLACE."

You shook your head and looked back at her. She stared at you and looked down.

"Is everything 9k? Did he trigger y9u fr9m his yelling?"

She shook her head.

"No I'm used to that happening.."

You were confused and stood up grabbing a note pad and pen.

"H9pefully y9u d9n't mind me rec9rding everything. It's t9 learn a little a69ut what's g9ing 9n in y9ur life."

She nodded and showed a soft smile. You don't really smile and because it's unprofessional but you felt like it's the right thing to do so you smiled back. Just then you heard the door knocking and you looked over at it.

"N9w wh9 c9uld that 6e?"

Standing you walked over and looked through the peep hole.

"Kaaaannnnnyyyy open up!"

Oh no... Why now... In the comfort of my own home and when I have a guest...

Sighing you opened the door standing in front of your some how friend Cronus.

"Hey babe vwhats up."

He smiled walking inside.

"Cr9nus what d9 y9u want n9w.."

"Hey chill chief. I just thought to vwisit. Is that OK with you? Or not?"

You groaned and walk to the kitchen.

Reader:

You looked over seeing a greaser looking man talking to you therapist. Kankri seemed not to happy that he was here. As you were watching what was going on you saw the tall troll walk over to you and smile.

"Vwell hello there dollface. Vwhat brings you to this neighborhood?"

You didn't say anything if anything you felt yourself shaking scared. Talking to new people always scared you, even if it was the people that looked popular which you assumed he was.

"Um you Ok? You seem not talkativwe and shaken up there. I promise I don't bite."

"I- it- um-"

You couldn't spit any words out.

"Cr9nus Amp9ra! Leave her al9ne! Y9u scaring her!"

"But I didn't do anyfin! I just asked her a question and she started to shake!"

Oh man this is a great first impression.. You're fucking everything up.. This is why you can't be near anyone... You hurt people.. You do everything wrong...

Just then the troll with lightning horns sat next to you.

"Hey calm dowvn. Nothing's going to happen. Jeez I havwen't seen this much shaking since Kan vwas afraid of talkin to evweryone in our friend group. Doll just take a breather, I'm not going to hurt you."

You looked up at him still shaking but nodded. You couldn't still speak because you didn't know him.

"Ok? Cool. Kanny vwhats for dinner?"

"When did I decided t9 feed y9u in my h9use?"

"Um? Nowv?"

Kankri groaned and went back to the kitchen. You sat there in silents not sure what to say.

"You must not like to talk? Vwell as you can see I'm Cronus. It's nice to meet a newv face around here. It gets borin seeing the same old people."

You nodded.

"I-im (Name).."

He looked at you with a fake surprised shock look in his face.

"She speaks! Oh my god!"

You couldn't help but show a small side smile. He laughed and patted your head.

After dinner was over Cronus left and so did Kankri's brother. You went back to the couch and looked at the TV. You watched your favorite show making you smiled when Kankri was confused at what was going on. You looked over and saw it on his face.

"It's a good show maybe we can watch from the start someday."

You said smiling.

"Uh I think I'm g99d.. I think reading will 6e a 6etter ch9ice at the m9ment.."

"What book are you reading?"

"The 5th Wave."

You tilted your head confused on what the book was even about. Kankri signed and closed the book turning looking at you. He try to explain to you what the book was generally about but you zoned out. He talked a lot and you couldn't handle it anymore. Smiling you pointed at the clock and he looked at it.

"9h my its time t9 sleep. G9 upstairs. I'll see y9u in the m9rning."

You nodded and went up to your room quickly and closed the door sliding down. You started to take deep breaths and looked around. It was to dark in your room. You looked for your backpack and found your night light. It was the only thing that for sure kept all your nightmares of what happened away. You plugged it in and smiled. Changing into your PJs and crawled into bed. Whispering night to the one person you knew that was always here for you. Closing your eyes slowly and falling asleep.
