Prologue

Kim Hwajae's P.O.V.

"What the hell?! Mom! Can you please stop! You ARE hurting my brother! Why are you always doing this?!", I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"What?! Can't you see?! He doesn't have MY blood flowing through his veins! It's from OTHER'S! So why won't I hurt him?! It's his fault anyways!", my mom shouted back at me but she is preferring to my brother, Kim Seoli. (A/N: BTW, if you searched the meaning of Hwajae it means Fire, then, Saja:Lion, Soohyun:Water, Seoli:Frost)

"Mom! I said stop! It's not his fault! He doesn't even know what the hell is happening!", I shouted back at her.

"Why do you care anyways? Do you even know what it feels? Huh?! You ARE not in my place so you WILL never understand!"

"BUT IF I WE'RE IN YOUR PLACE! I WILL! I WILL UNDERSTAND! Because MOM! Since when I was a kid you've been doing this to me! But if I we're in Seoli's place right NOW I will never really understand you because you never understood me BEFORE until NOW", I said and almost ended it with a whisper. She's speechless.... Is this true?! SHE'S SPEECHLESS! SHE IS FREACKIN' SPEECHLESS!

"What mom?! Had an amnesia? Did you forgot everything you did to me?", I asked her, sarcastically. (A/N: Wait is that a word? 😂😂)

I glared at her, to the point that I can form a hole in her eyes. "You know what mom? I'm tired and so is Seoli." I told her and left grabbing Seoli, not letting him being left with my stupid mom.

"Seoli?", I asked my (looks like a) 5 years old younger brother. He just hummed as a response.

"Do you still want to live here?", I asked him and stopped walking to carry him. He shook his head violently. I just chuckled at his cuteness & also at his response.

"So you mean is you want to leave here?", I ask him, curiously. Then I almost bursted out laughing at his response.

"That is youwe point fwom the stawt, wight?", (A/N: If you don't understand just change 'w' to 'r'), I just chuckled to control the situation. This is one of the reasons why I really love my brother, well it's because when he's telling me his opinion it's as if he can grasp the situation.

"Wanna run from this 'chickening' place?", well I just said chicken, Lets say that chicken is one of my Words of Wisdom. Chicken on MY dictionary is FVCK. Sooo when I said Chickening it means Fvcking. At least my brother won't say bad words.

"Chickening?", I just chuckled and ruffled his hair.

"You will understand someday", I said and continued to walk towards his room. I brought him down.

"So let's pack some thing's up?", I asked him and smiled.

"Wait we awe weally leaving?", he asks.

"Yes", I told him, then he just jumped up and down, I told him to keep it down so that my mom won't hear us. We started packing up and so am I.

After I packed my things & Seoli's, I went to his room and found him sleeping soundly on his bed. I just chuckled at the sight of him. I walked closer to him finding him shivering, so I got his blanket and went to the bed with him and covered our body with the cozy blanket.

'Maybe sleeping for a while won't hurt us', I tought and drifted of to sleep hugging my brother feeling him snuggling closer to me. I just smiled at the feeling.

I woke up feeling someone struggling at my grasp.... My eyes fluttered open and removed my grasp realizing that it was my brother.

"Eonnie, let's go, I wanna leave from this chikening place.", wait.... did I hear it right?

"Can you say again?" I asked him.

"I said can we leave from this chickening place Eonnie?", he repeats. OMFG! He can speak 'r' properly! And most of all he used my Words of Wisdom.

"Okay, it's 2 in the morning so she's probably already sleeping, let's go?", I ask him, he just nodded and went to the bathroom to get ready and I did the same.

After getting ready to leave I checked the time:

2:42 a.m.
Saturday

"Eonnie, let's go", my brother whispered and he carried his bag.

"Yeah, coming", I replied and I got my own bag and me and my brother started walking towards my apartment. Yeah, I said my apartment, I have a apartment, but only my close friends and no one from my family knows about it.

"Yah, Eonnie, whose house is this?" Seoli asked.

"It's mine Seoli, do you remember the time when I did not go home for a whole week? This is where I stayed", I told him and started walking inside.

"Wait, so you lived alone here that time?", he asked after he runned to catch up with me.

"Wait, I just realized it now, are you even a 5 y.o. kid?", I asked him.

"Well you're wrong I'm already 9 Eonnie! You've been kidding the audience from the start", I chuckled
at him. Yeah, he is already 9 seriously, he's short my height is about 162 cm and higher but him? Well it's 142 cm. Short right? And when he is saying the 'r' as 'w', he's just doing Aegyo.

"Yah, Eonnie, are you opening the door or not?", he asked.

"Chill! Jeez, I'm just tired.", I told him and opened the door.

"Let's just--", he suddenly stopped talking after he saw my apartment.

"What? Amazed?", I ask him.

"Daebak! I really like it! It's so simple yet so modern looking! OMO!", he said and started running towards the living room and he set his bag down on the couch and sat carefully on it.

"Jinja? I've been working this past 3 years to finish this and here is it.", I told him and followed him inside the living room.

"Wait is this really a apartment?", he asked me.

"Uh, well it's actually a house, I just saw it and boom! An idea came into my mind.", I told him.

"Just set your bag down ok? I will go and go to your room already", I told him and he just nodded. I guided him towards his room, he was also amazed and I told him to sleep first. At first, he insisted but I told him to shut up so he did shut up and slept.

After that I went to my own room and I lay down on my bed.... I just drifted off to sleep without even realizing it. 'Well this is the start of our adventure', I thought and drifted off to dreamland.
