My little buddy

Part 1

"Buddy!" Johnny called out. A second later a puppy German Shepherd ran up to him and started barking and licked Johnnys face. "Johnny patted the little puppy and stroked its back gently. The 15 year old was very fond of this dog and never stopped thinking about it. He went upstairs and came back down with a leash. "Cmon boy lets go for a walk " the dog excitedly ran toward Johnny and quietly sat as he put the leash on its neck. The two went out for a long walk in the park, passed by his girlfriends house and returned some hours later. "Where have you been?" Johnnys mother asked. "Calvin's" Johnny lied. Johnny went upstairs with the dog tagging along and took a bath with it. They both had some dinner to eat and went to sleep. In the middle of the night the dog woke up and started to bark. Johnny was awoken by the loud barking and saw the dog running. "Hey! Come back!" Johnny chased the dog and followed it to the living room where it had stopped. It appeared to be looking for something but Johnny couldn't figure it out. He switched on the light and saw a man leap through  the window. He reached for the nearby phone and called the police. Minutes later two cars pulled up in front of the house and rapped on the door.
